Well now (: Dee's writing?!
Yep, I've never written a proper fic before, and this is my first story I've written by my own accord since I was about eight... soooo no critiques or tips please, but comments are always welcomed ^^ Anway lets get to it shall we?

Jesse's mother is hit by a car as they cross the road and taken away to recover at a strange humans house. Jesse trys to follow the car which took her away bu collapses from exhaustion.
Later on, Aston finds the collapsed pup, wakes him and tries talking to him. But, the puppy lashes out, and doesn't wish him to help. Jesse just wants to find his mother. Aston agrees to help Jesse with some help from his gang, but actually just wants Jesse to help protect the gangs territory from hunters. Because of Jesse's attitude, Aston starts calling him Cynic, which Jesse doesn't mind.
Cynic is introduced to the gang members (Suki,Tica and Jono.) The group hunt for food for Cynic and take him to the river to drink. Cynic tells the rest og the gang their mission, which doesn't go down to well with them. Suki starts an argument with Cynic as he is taking over her leadership. Suki questions Astons choice of a new member, and Aston explains the plan to keep their territory safe to her. Afterwards, Tica tries to persuade Suki to go out with Cynic so that he would be more willing to help protect the territory, but Suki dissaproves greatly.
A few days later and the gang are on the search for food and a town. Aston and Cynic talk about their past on the way and Cynic reveals how his father died. Jono, the messanger robin, tells them that therea re hunters in their territory and the group rush to the middle of the forest, where two humans and a female Belgian Malanois mix a hunting. The gang force Cynic to face off the hunters but end up helping him after his head is smashed against the trunk of a large tree. Tica is nearly shot trying to defend Suki against Tatiana, as Suki was not pleased about Tatiana hurting Cynic.
After that mishap, the gang have a private meeting while Cynic is asleep and consider abadoning him and their mission to find his mother as Aston believes Cynic is wasting their time. Suki manages to discourage them and tells them he is their only hope of protecting the territory. Cynic over hears this conversation and thanks Suki in private, while giving the rest of them the silent treatment. Jono later hears Suki talking to Tica, telling her that she likes Cynic. Jono is about to tell Aston when Suki attacks him. Cynic tells her she is to be the one to get the food the next day.
The next day, the gang find a town and set about asking dogs whether they had seen the car or humans which had hit Flo. They get good news from a male Old English Sheepdog, who tells them that they went north. Meanwhile Suki tries to find food. The butcher attacks her as she steals a whole leg of lamb. The others come to help her and Aston ends up getting kicked in the side by the butcher. The gang help Aston back to the den and Cynic licks his wounds clean. Suki and Tica agree that he is becoming better.
Weeks pass by and there is still no sign of Flo. The gana start to lose all hope and belief they had gained in the town and start to lose faith in Cynic once more. Tica leaves the gang, fed up of the constant danger the gang is put through. Suki, Aston and Jono are angry with Cynic for not trying to stop Tica from leaving and remind him that she is the one who is good with driections.
Although, the next day Jono tells them that a crow saw a car like the one Flo had been hit by pulling into a small house about a mile from the gangs den. The crow had also told Jono that he had seen two men carry something wrapped in a blanket into the house. The gang are exstatic. They all were so happy for Cynic and Suki was so excited she nuzzled Cynic quickly under the chin, but is relieved when she is sure Jono didn't see, as he would spread rumours.
However, disaster strikes when a fire caused by the weltering summer heat burns down the den. All escape except Jono who Cynic goes and retrieves getting slightly burnt. Jono is so badly burnt that he dies after 5 minutes of being rescued. The gang are to upset to sleep and they all cuddle up together in memory of Jono (how cute <3.)
Two days later and Cynic and Aston are basically recovered. They finally are able to set out and find Flo. But Cynic is rubbish with directions, and the gang end up at many dead ends. Without Jono and Tica the missions seems hopeless for them. But suddenly Tica arrives from no where after hearing about Jono's passing, and the gang finally reach the house.
The gang sneak in through to front gate and enter the huge back garden of the house. The humans appear to be out, and Cynic tries quietly calling for his mother, in hope of a whimper back but they heard no reply. Suddenly a man appears from the kitchen with a large shovel and the gang have to hide under the table. Tica isn't concentrating and eats the salmon sitting on the work top. Cynic snaps at her and Suki says they must stay hidden.
The gang follow the man into the garage. There, they finally find Flo. Cynic runs up to his mother, over the moon to see her once more. But when he finds she is infact dead, he break down. The gang watch in dismay as the poor dog morns over his mother. Suddenly the humans appear and the gang watch as Flo is buried on the edge of the forest opposite the house.
The gang make their way back to the den in total silence, which Suki breaks when they arrive. Aston and Tica fall asleep. Suki was about to, when she saw Cynic looking up at the sky. The two talk for a while.
Cynic says he has no body left to watch his back. Suki replies saying that he has the gang, always, but Cynic points out he has no one beside him ,to love him. Suki finally reveals that she has feeling for him and replies " But you do, right now Cynic." Cynic smiles. He ask her to call him Jesse from now on.

" Yes dear?"
"Check out this butterfly! It's the biggest I've ever seen!"
The young, male Australian Kelpie jumped next to the butterfly. Startled, it flew back up, into the sky. The dog's mother rolled her eyes and giggled silently under her breath.
"Now really Jesse. At 18 months you should be admiring other things, like girls for instance." Jesse looked into his mother's hopeful, brown eyes and scowled.
"But Mo-om..." he began. "I've told you time and time again, you'll always be the only women in my life." He gently licked his mother's soft cheek. But again, she rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Hmmm...we'll see. Now come on. You must be parched, we haven't had a drink in ages."
The two dogs had been travelling for so long, desperately searching for a city or town to rest at. They hadn't seen clean water for two days and were truely exhausted. The weltering summer heat was really taking it's toll on them.
Jesse suddenly spyed the butterfly again; this time it was perched on a rock by a very tall, old oak tree.
"Jesse." His mother barked sternly. "We need to cross the road, come along!"
But Jesse didn't pay any attention to his mother's orders, he just wanted to play. The bouncy dog began to stalk the unaware butterfly. He could faintly hear the cars rushing past, on their way to the city Flo and Jesse so badly needed to reach.
"Right Jesse, I'm going to cross. You'll be left behind if you don't hurry." Flo said to her stubborn son.
Ha! She wouldn't leave me alone out here, all on my own. She is far to protective to do that! Jesse thought to himself.
SMASH!
Jesse heard a high pitched yelp. He turned around slowly, fearing the worst.
He was frozen to the spot.
"Mother! No" he cried.
The huge car which had hit Flo suddenly screached to a hault. Two humans jumped out of the car with paniced and anxious expressions. Jesse watched closely, petrified for his mother's welfare. He had always feared humans, ever since his father's death. The two who had been driving the car had massive leg and arm muscles and tatoos drawn all over every body part which was visible to Jesse.
" Oh god, Paul. You hit a dog!" one of the large men bellowed to his friend, who was just getting a blanket out of the boot to wrap Flo in.
"Bugger!" the other shouted as he slammed his hand on the car bonnet.
Jesse was sobbing as he watched the humans pack his beloved mother into the back of the car.
" She can recover at out house." said the man who was driving. And with that, the car began to drive away, with Flo in the back.
Jesse couldn't bare it.
"NO!" he screamed. "You can't take her away." The poor guy was nearly in hysterics.
He ran as fast as he could to catch up with the car, panting rapidly. Jesse had to stop, catch his breath. But despite this, he still kept running.
After about four minutes of sprinting at his top speed, Jesse stopped. Tears streamed down his furry cheek and dripped off his nose like tiny rain drops.
"I need her..." he whispered quietly to himself.
Still breathing and panting heavily, Jesse felt his legs going wobbly.
Everything went black.
