I’m just curious as to why certain members on this site appear to be under the mistaken impression that homosexuality is supposedly deviant. It is quite astounding, that in this day and age such draconian homophobic views are still expressed.

I find it rather sad.

It's not that everyone's a homophobe, it's just that being homosexual doesn't appear right. Nowadays, nobody has to be ashamed for anything, even if they know it's not right. Society pleads that you don't have to be ashamed of anything, because that's "the way they were raised" or "something wrong with your brain, not you".

It's not that people are homophobic, it's that sexuality and discussions about sexuality really have no place on an animation fansite.

And out of curiousity, where did you get that the site thinks that homosexuality is deviant and wrong?

This doesn't even need to be discussed....

EDIT: How on earth would you know what is even going on on this site, Wanders? Seeing as how you just joined today.

May I just put in - I gave Wanders a series of quotes from this year.

So... We are allowed to post and discuss malexfemale relationships, but why not say... makexmale or femalexfemale? Because the people at the top (I'm not blaming steet here) are homophobic.

There is no point in denying it.

What makes homosexuality wrong? An unreliable book written 2000 years ago? Which if we believed everything it says, women would still not have a vote.

I don't like the idea of sex talks, but you can either have nothing (as in, no relationship fanfics, arts exec.) or actually include everything (meaning ALL types of relationships).

If Normal 'crush talk' (AKA personal love intrest, love problems) MaleXFemale (which, on the SB is talked on alot) is allowed, then I really don't see a difference in Girlxgirl/guyxguy talk. But that's just me.
