First rant of mine so forgive me if it aint the best. but il explain to my very best

OK what the fudge is going on? Moderators are you really that blind?! (not all of em. but some..) I have been reported and instantly warned in the past for saying the D word in the shoutbox. I dont mean the sexual one. i meant the religious swear. I never knew this was a bad word. but i got told off for it in the shoutbox and i learnt. then i got warned straight after it.. but thats in the past.. BUT i have spotted SO many people saying the exact same word. in front of a moderator one time as i recall. and i reported one or two of them. and guess what? NOTHING happened. it was ignored. or they proberly got a pm. no warning.. ok so why did i get this word so harmfully hit agaisnt me. but others can say it and laugh with the mods about it? and this aint just the D word. i jsut experienced 5 minutes ago someone saying the B S word. and TWO shoutbox moderators saw it and didn't even take notice.. OK what is your problem mods? I got the punishment. im on one warning till ban cause i said one word and learnt and never said again. and i see multiple people say the same word. and other swears and the mods dont take notice? Im just alittle ticked of how i got the punishment and they dont.. this is a kids site i may add? its against the RULES.. come on am i the only one getting this?

I made a thread about this in rant section but anyways....I for one think it's unfair to get treated that way when you swear by being punished while others get away with murder(figure of speech). So I know what you are going through and i think mods SHOULD play fair with everyone on the site^

Anyways, it is truly unfair if you can prove it. Did you make sure that you click to get an update on the report when it was addressed?

mhm. i did for 2 reports. and none responded. i can prove you the last swear i just spotted from a certain shoutbox user. and i sorry if it been mentioned before but i was abit to ticked. i mean I GOT the punihsment. im at risk to be banend for saying one VERY minor swear. an others who say it out and free is ok? sigh

Well then that is unfair. Was it the same mod in your warning and another person's swearing? Some mods wouldn't consider that swearing.

i had Lux warning. and Kirada told me of. but still that dont escuse the B S word i saw today infront of two mods.. thats just bonkers? look back on spirit source shoutbox history.. youl see it

I think the best way would to be to contact Steet or Togo and explain to either the problem. Contacting the admin/admins is always the smartest way to go.

Honestly I agree that mods need to be a little tougher on the older members and for new members, explain that that isn't allowed and then start warnings after that(though I don't see a real need for that if people read the rules when they join).

i know. but Lux/Kirada got me in trouble for the word *****. I always say bloody hell everywhere though but i dont type it. but its a common word.. and like the other words you said. but the main issue is how they are so freaky on people saying the little swears. but ignore people saying the bigger swears

Well, as long as you say "Pardon my French" before you say some words it should be fine .

This isn't funny, Conay. There is no excuse for swearing. Not one at all. Just because you add that it doesn't mean your not swearing. Your still going to get in trouble.


No, Conay. Just because someone reports those words, it doesn't make them a loser. They're doing the right thing... Just because it's a common thing for teenagers (Not including myself.) to swear in every sentence they say, doesn't mean they can use it where ever they want when they want. This is one of those places that clearly states swearing is not allowed.

It doesn't matter how small or large the swear word is. The word is still a cuss word.

yes but we losing topic. the point is the mods dont care about the cursing.. i witnessed a swear on shoutbox right infront of 2 mods.. and they ignored it.. This is just to stupid. i got reported and warned instantly for "*****"

Hey Zion, was the d word uncensored at those times in any case? Because that's happened a lot with that particular one. Bloody isn't even censored either, yet you still get a warning at times for it. Bit silly we have these banned on religious terms when we don't even allow too much talk of religion here, smells a bit to me.

no it was out like any other word. i thought it was ok. i knew it was bad but i didnt think it was that bad.. and if its uncensored then clearly it must be ok right..? but i still quite ticked how i got the punishment but others who swear. d word.. s .. b.. f.. all are ignored by mods? i mean.. meh i got awarning out of it and no im close to ban for that 1 thing
