Good dog movies:

Marley and Me:

I just loved 'Marley and Me', and who wouldn't? It's cute, funny and sad. A golden labrador puppy that's cheaper than the rest of the puppies because he's a bit of a rascal? Cute. Running around, creating chaos, chewing things up all the time, tripping people over? Funny (because that's what dogs do, and I just think it's funny/cute). Marley ending up dying at the end because of age and a flipped-over stomach? Sad. Towards the ending, this movie had me in tears, something that few movies can do. Most movies about dogs nowadays involve dogs that can talk, and a crappy plot and script. I think 'Marley and Me' is the best film about a dog and his owner, it's a great movie and I recommend it for ages 10+

K-9:

This movie left me with aching sides and red cheeks, it was hilarious in my oppinion. It's about a police dog named 'Jerry Lee' and his owner, a cop named 'Thomas Dooley'. The dog is probably the smarter one of the two, lol. I really liked this movie, it's like 'Marley and Me' except the dog doesn't die in the end, and it's a lot funnier.

Turner and Hooch:

Yet another hilarious dog movie. In this movie, a very hygenic cop takes in a slobery, filthy and noisy French Mastiff named Hooch. Hooch is kinda ugly, but he's a loveable character and a good dog. Hooch's previous owner had been stabbed and killed, and so someone had to take care of the "vicious" dog. I loved this movie, and the ending.

Homewardbound: The incredible journey

I loved this movie and the characters, and I thought the plot and script were absolutely great. Three loveable and unforgettable house pets venture off into the wilderness when their family leaves them behind at a farm. It's just as the subtitle says, it's an incredible journey. My favourite character would have to be Chance, he's like me in so many ways. He likes food, he hates scary places, he doesn't like cats (lol, yeah..I actually..hate cats, even though I pretend to like them) and he can be a bit of a pain at times.

So, what dog movies do you guys like? Or maybe if you like any of these movies I've just talked about, you can say why you like them and what your favourite character is.

Here are some other good dog movies.

Travesty

Anyway, Napoleon is a really cute Australian one. Labrador puppy clambers into a basket with balloons tied onto it and goes flying away from his home all over Sydney and the Australian wilderness, determined to have adventure and live as a wild dog.
