Sorry if this has been ranted about before i just need to get this out, plus please just lock it if it has been ranted about before.

I have been running into a serious problem around the forums that many people are guilty of, and i belive it's the rudest thing ever.

It's when people do not read the pervious posts in a topic before replying.

it gets under my skin, it's so rude, and careless.

People end up repeating what another person said about 5 times and you like really? that what so'N'so just said.

It's not help full and everyone is guilty of doing this, just some people don't do it as much. If the post is about five or 10 pages long then yes i can see doing this but if the topic is only what one to two pages long, please take you time a read the posts, stop being so freaking lazy.

maybe i am putting to much on it but I still think it's very rude and careless, it's not helpfull after you've said it five hundred times people. Also in rants the ranter or someone who had gotten made because of the rant are Very bad at this. they won't read fully what a post says and will go off their rocker, flaming mad, the you'll have to be like "as i said" or "did you read the post?" and thats just bad for everyone.

Someone please say they know the feeling.

This has happened to me before, and I honestly don't mind if the person only does it once, if they continue to do it, then that's when I get mad. I honestly don't really mind if the user who is doing it is younger than me, but if a user who is older and more mature than I am...That's what I call total carelessness. So, I know what you're feeling, some people are too lazy to read posts by other users. I understand that some people might not see the post, or post at the exact same time as another person in the topic, and that's okay. It's when they just completely ignore others that it becomes a sort of issue. It becomes an issue because, it could lead to arguements and sometimes people are mean enough to cyber bully others. But anyways, this has happened to me before, but there's really no need to get too mad.

Is it annoying yes but like StH said it ins't a big deal if it happens once or twice. We are all guilty of doing this even I have done it. But that is extremelly rare and usually because I skipped over that post reading through them on accident, not because I am careless. But I have seen people being careless. To me the worst is when they don't take the time to read the rules of a topic and only the title of the topic and make there assumptions off of that and post something completely oblivious to what the topic is about. Now that is what gets under my skin a little bit. And usually it is the new users doing this or the ones that are rarely on.

You can't expect everyone to willingly read through ten pages of (mostly useless) material.

There is only a small fraction of members here who post ideas and topics that are worth reading. Generally, it's not a big deal to me if these kinds of people don't read all the way through, because their insight will probably add something new to the topic even if they do repeat some of what others said. On the other hand, if you have people posting useless one-liners and people are repeating the same thing, then you have a problem.
