Okay, I'll be typing up a new contest or adoption topic and I'll click enter, and everytime I click a button, I get shot back up to the top of my post! I cannot even read what I'm typing because of it! Can it be fixed?

This has never happened to me elsewhere on the forums. Not to mention I don't ever post in those sections you mentioned. And honestly this isn't a rant. It belongs in the report bug topic in the suggestions forum.

This is what happens to me all the time, it's the reason some of my posts are so short. I can't even post three paragraphs without being bumped back to the top. So, I understand how much this must drive you insane. I don't know if it can be fixed though, maybe only certain computers or laptops do it? I have an ASUS Laptop, so maybe the brand or somethin' has something to do with it. Or, it could be just the site itself. All I know is, it happens to me as well, and it might be happening for other users who have kept it quiet all this time.

I don't go on the contest section much either, but if this hasn't already been added to the glitch list topic go ahead and do so, or it won't just go away. Just be sure to give as much detail as you can with screenshots for better visual.

Ah, well if its far enough back, I'd bump it. I've had to do so before atleast twice before Steet took note of it.

That happens to me too, even on certain RP's... It annoys to hell, and I always have to be super careful to not make mistakes on a word... (Never thought that it happens to other people too LOL)

I hate the way it does it too, that's why I write my bio's in Word and then copy and paste.
It gets annoying.

What I usually do when I post a new RP, etc.
It IS annoying,
and yeah, this should probably be moved, I'd say.

Well I still can't reproduce the problem. Tried Firefox and IE, and it seems to work fine.
I need more info.

- does it happen only on the forums?
- only when you start a topic, or also when you reply?
- which browser do you use?
- what do you do EXACTLY? where do you click? does it happen when you type or when you click somewhere?
- does it happen all the time, or only sometimes?

EDIT : Ok now I see. It only happens on Internet explorer, and when you post large amount of text. Strange bug...I'll have to see if there's any record of that bug on phpBB sites.

EDIT 2 : Alright, that was an IE 8.0 specific bug. It should be corrected now.
