I think it's rediculous to have like five paragrahs of the character you wanna adopt or making a character for having a history to be validated for the mods. Do you think we can tone it down a bit?I know some people are lazy when it comes to giving a good bio of characters but I think we should make it somewhat short and not too long. Does anyone agree about this? Please give me your answer, no mean comments please!

I think I get what your saying. That people's bios/histories shouldn't be so long on the character pages?
There's nothing wrong with having a long bio or history. I prefer them myself. It proves the creator has put a lot of thought and effort into their character and I love seeing that, we need more of it if you ask me.The minimal length is 5 lines, anyone can come up with a simple story, but it takes creativity to really think of a complex story line. Having such also helps make for better fanfictions.
Simply, if you don't like them, don't read them, no one's forcing you to. Its not up to you how others make their characters. This just seems like a silly thing to complain about :/

okay, maybe a 5 meters long bio isn't really necessary but as Draco said, it means that the person who wrote it has a lot of ideas for the characters...I do prefer a long bio than a 1 long sentence like "Was born in the woods behind Nome. Grew up alone until he/she found the true love and had pups with." -_-'

I don't see anything wrong with long bio's.

Quote: That is why I don't go to adopt dogs much anymore cause the owner of the topic wanats me to write like a whole life story in order to get a good chance of that pup^ Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the History ment to be the characters life story? Of course, it doesn't have to be like 15 paragraphs long, but surely you don't expect people who have characters for adoption to except a bio with a history which was short enough that it could of been written by a six year old.

Honestly, I love long bios, short bios make me think the person isn't smart.

5 lines is perfectly fine for having a simple basis to later expand and develop. They don't even have to be a 5 line paragraph, it could even be just 5 quick lines for basics.

GhostWolfMadarao wrote: I just don't wanna right like twenty pages for one flippin character maybe a beginning of their history, a small middle and end after all it is a character... "Right" You mean "Write"? Well, You don't. -_- The rules are simple, the people who write long bios, are doing EXTRA work. And if you don't want to read it, then don't. I don't really know how much more easy it can get. All you need is : Name Age Breed Gender Colors Markings Personality Likes Dislikes History And that's it. (That's not alot really.)
