The title says it all.
Let me explain.

Whenever I'm bored, I look for some good characters to render or whatever. The names of some characters I can't even PRONOUNCE. I mean, Ashkalakikoq? Marquesianni? Amarnoran? This is what I'm talking about.

SECONDLY, there are some names that are just plain overused, like Flower, Ruby, Shadow, Fang, Bob, etc. That's not much of a problem, as long as their username is next to it, and not some symbol. THAT just annoys me.

Thirdly, there's the names that are just copied from others. This is what REALLY bugs me. First, there's names that we just see everywhere. At the end of EVERY STINKIN' name, there's '---pelt'. I admit, I have a character named Ashpelt, but c'mon, she was adopted 8D Anyways, there's what I had to say about the name issue.

Fourthly, there are characters named after famous dogs/wolves/whatevers. I mean names like Kiba, Weed, Gin, etc. There isn't a big problem with those anymore, but beware! The copycats are still lurking >.>

Now on to HORRIBLE LINEARTS and RENDERS! Yippee...

If you're gonna use a lineart or screenshot, the drawing is already there for you! Just freaking color it in! Seriously guys, it's not that hard to make a decent render-_-

I understand if these are ones they did when they were new to it, but they're at almost the top of their gallery.

But still, despite my laziness, I think I've made my point.
I still don't knowHOW MANY TIMESpeoplearegoingto have toRANTaboutthis, but I hope these guys/girls get it through their heads soon >.<

The fact that such blatant art theft is allowed onto the site is an insult to the staff -- it would be events like these that make me regret resigning as a fan art/image moderator.

However, members are famous here for whining. They spend minimal effort coloring in line art or poorly rendering an image, and when the moderator deactivates it they "baw" about it. It seems as if the definition of "art" has been altered to include unoriginal creations.

As a fan character moderator on BS, I had deactivated more than 3 Aleu look-alikes; many were also from Ginga and other poorly-drawn TV shows and movies. This also applies for their names.

Some line arts/renders require a lot of patience. Some of them aren't Microsoft Paint compatible, so you get that "fuzzy" look around the lines which makes it look bad. And people are just too lethargic to make it look good. (Since MSP is so widely known, most people don't have/can't afford Photoshop or other products as such, or don't know where to get the free programs. Or can't/won't download them.)

A lot of people now-a-days seem to have the, "If I like it, it's mine" mentality. This is both immoral as well as often illegal, as people will trace/heavily reference copyrighted artwork from comics, shows, and so forth and make poor attempts to pass them as their own. The person who posted those anime pictures could be sued for Copyright Infringement (a federal offense, meaning federal fines and federal prison, in the U.S. -- I'm unsure about other countries) if the owner(s) of those images decided to be a snit about it (sometimes they do; other times they give a "take it down or else" warning).

Personally, I think artists need to be more forceful with their work. "Once a thief, nearly always a thief." Especially when it comes to attention-seeking artist wannabes.

I've also noticed that alot of colored in linearts are being accepted in the fan arts section on BS. I mean, isn't that supposed to go in images?

It scares me that this isn't taken care of. The most we as normal members can do is click the button and report. A mod will eventually get to it, even if it takes some time.

Case closed.

What I don't understand is how these images are accepted.

Anyhow, this is the typical member. They lack creativity and neatness.

Actually, that looks much better than some of the images mentioned here! And that's saying something, seeing as you did that in a minute.

Now that's just sad. I guess it just shows that members are not only just lazy, but don't care.

Yeah I have the lack of creativity on this site...why can't people use more unique names or take time to color their images?Nice rant btw, I think people who are laking creativity SHOULd see this XD!

-_-' Amarnoran was a cold shot at my character Amarantine WHICH my the way is a forgin name, names are name so i think thats a real petty rant my friend lol, but the bad renders i can understan that, but they are trying their best half they time they are just learning how to render so cut them some slack, however those poor souls who think coloring the mouth black and thats all well they need help because thats just lazy.

Actually no, Armarnoran wasn't based off of Amarantine at all.
