I know it's not comforting, but you're not the only one in a hard situation. I know another fan who wrote a Talespin live action screenplay, to submit to Disney, in order to pay debts and buy a new car / get a new job. I promised him to write an article about it, which I'll post soon.

as of now I appreciate with all my heart the help that some of you have done for radiotherapy. Unfortunatelly all of the money I have gotten from selling my ciber cafe, and the Dif association here along with a few donations from friends and people who has found it in their heart who at the moment can help hasn't been enough, and I'm in complete stress because it has to be paid before wednesday next week. It is hard for me since I always do commissions for money , and people, well, had asked for art from me and of course I have received a payment in the past. that is something I cannot do now, since I have sold every little thing I have for almost nothing.

I hope you could afford to chip in a little and help me out on this because I'm really running low on options.

I will never forget what you guys do. who know the world goes around in strange ways and things can happen to anyone. It happen to me when I was just about to become self employeed just on an art project involving reviving talespin.

I'm really sorry about you and you mom's situation. Unfortunately I won't be able to chip in any money, at least not before Wednesday. I certainly hope things work out for you all though. You'll be in my thoughts.

Things seems to be a little better, althought my mom is not out of the hospital for infection I'm sure she will be ok. I'm short only by 150 us as of now and the payment to start the treatment (This being 50 % of the whole amount and the rest to be in two months)must be made by monday. I dont know guys but I have to do something . I'm willing to do 20 us sketches until I get to that amount , ofcourse that would be on the old school method . directly on real paper. not PC involved since I have none. I still have to scan it and send it to whoever is interested. how many characters per piece . a max of two. I want to get this big load of heaviness out of my back so I can feel more at ease. some one out at furaffinity offered himself to do inks and color is needed. please pm me if you are interested in helping on this noble cause. maybe some of oyu are interested in inking or coloring. please send me a note . I need to do a total of 6 sketches to get out of this debt. I guarantee you I will do the best to please you guys.


thanks. this is the method I think is going to be faster. remember that you have to send the payment via paypal to [email protected] as a gift to avoid the comission they usually take and please take into consideration that the timing wil not only depend on me but on the person who is inking , someone who is willing to help ( a memeber from furaffinity) to do it. now if you just want the sketch is onlñy 20 us for 2 characters max , buit it will be scanned , not digital.

Thanks to the doners and people who is worried and following whats is happening

I have made the first payment, now I have another 20 days for the second since I was a little late for the first one. I have no words of appreciation to all of you guys. I owe big, I know that. I'm going to work on some collecting for the second payment due on June 5 but I guess I'm going to be doing some kind of sketch work in return. I don’t know how I'm going to work it out yet, but some one at furaffinity offered me help scanning images and inking and coloring. I'll let you guys know how is it going to work out when the time comes. My mom is out of the hospital and she is here at home with me now, she is doing fine, and although she feels down, which is normal. I'm helping her with everything I can morally.

If any one here has an idea of how to collect 700us in 20 days I'm all ears for ideas. An organization here named (solo por ayudar) already promised me 700us on June 1st. this same organization helped me with my mother surgery and part of the first payment. I'm happy to have found some one here in my country that actually cared and did something about the uninsured people, and I'm calmer at the moment. But I still don’t want to wait until the last minute to do something.

Another organization called DIF will probably donate a PC in order for me to help myself on working on art and going back digital, but that will be in the first week of June. I’m pretty sure it will be after the second payment is due.

Someone mentioned here or some where else that my Mom is very lucky to have a son like me, but I’m sure that anyone on my position would have done just the same. Anyway, thanks for those words.

As of now, I’m currently employed only for 5 to 6 hours since I cannot handle too much time because of my HBP and low sugar problem.


to finalize this I'm pretty soon, probably a couple of days I'm goping to be opening another round commmission to raise the funds, but remember that the art is going to be penciled on bristol paper not digitally.

this is only a notification to let you know that I will get a PC today or tomorrow morning, I'm so happy that is way before of what I was thinking. Nothing too fancy, but at least something to have at home. I'll have internet access . not fast but at least something. I'll póst several things that I'm going to do for raising funds, one of them art, for that medical bill due on june 5th, and because of no tablet at the moment, I'll have to do them on paper. I'm currently done 200 us of comissions which most of them I havent been able to scan yet , I'M SORRY. I will get those soon somehow. thanks again

A friend whose is at the university is offering me a tablet that'll cost me around 50 us,is a used one wacom 3 (4x5) and is willing to let me use it and pay him later. this is how he is going to help me at the moment raising funds, because believe me, is not easy to scan images that are somehow hard for me to show to people I dont know.

I know guys that I've been away from art for quite a long time, but sometimes life put test on us.

Some of you guys here already know and some have already helped in a way I thank you with all my heart.

Anyhow, for those who don’t, here the long story short. My mother had two breast operations for possible in a period of almost 2 years, and the result was negative. Still on the last test a few months back she had ramifications on the other breast and the result was positive. She went out for surgery and is currently here at home with me recovering. The thing is that because of her age the insurance have restrictions for people her age it does not apply quimiotherapy or surgeries. I have already paid for the surgery or otherwise they wouldn’t have operated on her. Lost my business by doing so, because I sold everything I had. For the quimiotherapy I've paid one third of the total cost, and man that is awful expensive. I'm trying to for some kind of commission-donation-help to help me out to pay those expenses by the next due date on June 5th.And for that reason since I already collected 200 us so far. I’m still 500 us short. I'm doing this. I may get a pc tonight or tomorrow from a donation from the DIF organization to do the art since going to the internet cafe and having art scanned is a pain and is costly.

You may note me here if you want to keep yourself anonymous, or just reply on this thread.


Because of the time I might take on the commission I would prefer if you guys ask for penciled work only so to give the chance to me and to other to have their art faster. I’ll do colored ones if you want to, but please try to stay in pencil art or probably simple cell shaded, not fully rendered.

I still have to get 500us together, and so I’ll split this into sections

25 slots commissions of 20 us each for one character or 17 commissions of 30 us each for two characters. If you want a colored one cell shaded or fully rendered with BG note me please on pms
