Everyone knows about the trainers that don't ever really do anything. They hang around in one spot and challenge anyone that looks their way. But only the "wandering trainers" know that their job is the toughest of any Pokemon Trainer.
To make matters worse, Teams Rocket, Aqua, Magma, and Galactic have launched a joint attack on every region. The Gym Challengers--or, as some call them, heroes--named Red, Blue, Green, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, and Pearl have been captured. Now, it's up to the wandering trainers to save the day.

RULES:
1: Don't curse. Not even substituting words in or using *'s. Keep this RP clean.
2: This RP shall begin before the capture, IN KANTO. Later, we may add Johto characters, and Hoenn and Sinnoh in turn. First things first.
3: If you have not read the comic series "Pokemon Adventures", brush up on it. You'll need it, as several characters will be based off of that comic.
4: Post "Trainers that wander" on your bio post if you accept the rules.
5: Please, at least two lines to a post unless we are in a dialogue with a character you are not playing as.

*Really, we're starting mostly from scratch. The only explanation about the bio is that your first Pokemon can't be a "starter". It has to be a Pokemon you could find on Route 1 or 2 (meaning a Rattata, Pidgey, or possibly Caterpie or Weedle). Your "Misc" will either be blank or "Did not trap".

I'd gladly join, but just one question (this is gonna make me feel and look stupid). What's a Misc.?

Miscellaneous. Basically, it's anything extra to mention, and in this case, it's "did you use a trap or not?". And I forgot some stuff that I'll put below. Also, don't bother with the POKEMON TRAINERS section yet. I'll get to those later, because a lot of them are Pokemon Adventures characters. And, if a few people would handle actual Pokemon Trainers, okay. For them, choose Charmander, Bulbasaur, or Squirtle.

Your RP seems interesting..The plot is very well written and detailed. I'll like it.

Will is accepted! And Gold is one of the captured Pokemon Adventures trainers, so you don't have to tell me what his first Pokemon was. Although, I admit, you've done your reading. Gold is "Pokeboy". Just make up a Pokemon Trainer of your own. And, if it will help, here's a link to a list of Pokemon Adventures characters:

For now, if you want to make up a Trainer, give it a Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. And I only need one of each, so the position is first come, first serve!

If it'll help, buy the manga--I'll be operating on what I know from volumes 1-9 (all that are officially out where I am). So, buy the manga, or you could google "Pokemon Adventures online" or something like that to read it online. The first nine volumes are, like, chapters 1 to 116. But you'll only need for the next while 1-90--only the first seven are the Kanto volumes.
If we're ready, we could probably begin.

Okay. BTW, I'll handle all of the Pokemon Adventures characters that are about to get kidnapped for now. Later, each of us can do our own.

Gray woke up and stretched. Today would be an amazing day. Professor Oak had told him last night that the results for his Pokemon Handling Test had come in. Which meant that today, he would learn--would he get his first Pokemon and become an official Pokemon Trainer? Or would he join the legions of "wandering trainers" that roamed the region, trapping their first Pokemon and not having any real rights?
He quickly dressed and packed his bag--a tent, a couple changes of clothes, his electronic Pokemon TCG cardholder, and the Potion his parents had given him to his last birthday. He was ready to go. Gray ran outside.

Ilac woke up eagerly, jumping out of bed without his normal half hour of trying to wake up. Professor Oak had told him--today he would learn his PHT results. He had very good feelings about today--the PHT's had been a breeze. Quickly dressing, he threw some stuff together in his bag, with the only order being so that more stuff would fit in the small backpack. He went downstairs.
Downstairs, his relative (he didn't even know exactly how they were related), Red, was munching on a toaster pastry. "Morning," Red said. "I hear you're getting your results today?"
"Yeah," agreed Ilac. "Wish me luck."
"Luck has nothing to do with it, Ilac," said Red seriously. "Of course, back when I got started, the PHT didn't exist. I caught a Poliwag out of luck. After years, I met the professor and he gave me Saur. Things just happened. Now? Well, that's kinda self-explanatory." From in a corner, Red's giant Venusaur nodded and grunted agreement, looking up from his breakfast. From another corner, Poli the Poliwrath grunted agreement of its own.
"Well, if you won't wish me luck for something that's already happened, at least wish me luck getting my journey started," said Ilac. Red chuckled and nodded. After scarfing down a quick breakfast, Ilac ran outside.
