Who is getting fed up with these greedy *cough*s at the top of the banking system who's only interest is making profit?
I've never liked bankers, but now I seriously hate them.
I live in a fairly poor family, barely have any money to spend exec. And whilst doing her weekly shopping, my nan went £7:45 overdrawn (for no more then three days) and is now being asked to pay £40 + the 7 quid she owes.
Personally, I'm disgusted, has anyone else had this type of experience?

Bankers are scavengers, yet they ask for more money and even keeping their profits for their evil ways that is used for.

The bank I'm with is pretty good. They don't give out as much interest, but their basic checking account (which I have) has unlimited transactions per month, free online banking, free cards, etc. Though half of my money is wrapped up in investments, I mostly live from paycheck to paycheck as a voluntary thing, since I myself am a greedy snob. LOL. Though I do share my wealth with crows in the form of peanuts ^_^ I just wish those darned things would pick up after themselves. >>
Enough of that tangent, but yeah, some banks are less savory then others.

Yup, same here. I love my bank. Unlimited transactions, free online monitoring system, student loans, the works. Provided you're a clean customer and don't spend money you don't have, banks really don't pose a problem...
but hey, if you wanna keep your dough under a mattress, more power to you, I guess. XD

Well since you guys have good deals in banks, I respect that. However, not all types of banks are struggling at the moment.

People don't understand ones situation, if we don't spend money we don't have... We'd literally starve. Amaterasu wrote: It's called overdraft protection. Hopefully, all banks should have them, or they wouldn't be a bank anymore.
Banks charge you if you overdraw from your account, therefore, you don't do it again. Simple economics. Depending on US bank terms, go over by $0.01 here, you get charged anywhere from $20.00 to $50.00 PER transaction and depending if it accumulates continuously, an additional $5.00 etc. every few days.
Good life tip: Don't spend more than you can afford. Surely though, going 1 cent overdrawn, isn't charging you $50 just I dunno... Just a tiny bit harsh. Example: and 88 year old man, went 7 pence overdrawn (he never knew this), and he decided not to use the account anymore, five years later, he has to pay around £200,000. Luckily though, the courts just made him pay a tenner.

I've never had this problem - but my mom has. The bank she works at is like this too, and bad service (On her "Ex Managers") But what do you expect? There is always a greedy sham. -Shrug-
