Plot:

Everyone has heard of were-wolves. But what about were-griffins?

Two were-griffins are a secret, blending in to the normal community like people. They are only able to stay human during the day, and unable to stay humanoid once dusk falls. Someone knows their secrets, and being like he is, plans to exploit them.

Sukai's messy hair was tousled further by a breeze that blew over her. Shivering slightly, she wrapped her arms around herself tightly, hoping to protect herself from the cold wind. Her books weighed down on her, and she wished to morph right noe, and drop her bags, longing to soar off into the sky. But she couldn't do that right now.

"Want to take a detour?" she asked, looking into Luna's blue eyes with hope. She looked at the secluded forest wistfully, where they always went to morph.

Luna smiled and rolled her eyes,"Alright."

Sukai caught the slight roll of Luna's blue eyes, but also the grin, so she grinned back, fair face lighting up. She began to run towards the tree line, feet pounding against the pavement, brown hair getting all the more tangled.

Luna laughed and followed slowly...in no hurry to get out of the wind.

"Hurry up, Luna!" Sukai called over her shoulder. Her voice was obviously filled with happiness, and slight breathlessness, giving her a carefree sounding nature. She ran harder, reaching the forest border. With no hesitation, she smacked a branch out of her way, green eyes watering slighty from the breeze she created around her.

Luna ran and caught up to her in no time.

Sukai soon found herself running beside her unique friend, whom she had a close bond with. Laughing lightly, she looked at Luna and grinned, oblivious to the on coming limb. The branch hit her in the side of the head, and her grin faded as she stumbled, losing her footing from the unexpected pain. She found herself on the ground, wheezing from a lack of breath, her brown hair already becoming slightly sticky with blood. "Ow," she muttered, sitting up.

Luna ducked under the branch in time but turned back around to see if she was alright."you ok chika??"

"Chika?" Sukai asked dazedly, a hand pressed to her forehead, sticky with blood. Using a tree for support, she forced herself to stand.
