Plot:

IN MAximum Ride, the Angel Experiment, the FLock broke into the INstitute, and set the mutants inside free. Well, we've decided to change it up. Two birdkids were all that they had time to set free, before they were interrupted. THese two bird-kids join the Flock, which leads to many adventures.

Hera ya go When shall we start?

Name: Hera
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Description: Dark blonde hair, blue green eyes, and a reasonably thin frame. Fairly tall at about 5'5. Her nose is dotted with freckles, and due to this fact, she is fairly pale. Her wings are like those of the red tailed hawk, medium brown with snow white flecks.

Ok, hope this is allright for a starting post

She felt like she was surrounded by ice. Her cage wasn't overly small, but it was still a cage, and she felt claustrophobic.

If I ever get out of this, she thought, I am never keeping a pet bird ever again. It was hard not to feel sorry for herself. It seemed she had a normal life one minute, and was living in (somewhere- opposite in heaven) the next.

Her hair slid over her ear, shrouding her face in a mist of bronze copper curls. Normally, she would of tucked it behind her ears, but it was hard to do anything in her current frame of mind.

Shay sighed. "They'll probably be a living nightmare," she agreed, allowing her jade eyes to drift shut.

Occ:// Sorry for the short post.....is it okay with you if I bring the Flock in?

S'ok. Fine with me. Bring 'em in!

As Shay's eyes closed, Hera lay awake, allowing the darkness to shroud her in a midnight black fabric.

Maybe nothing will get better, she thought, her eyes swollen from a lack of sleep. She stretched out her wings to the best of her ability, given the size of the cage, rested her head on her wing, and allowed herself to drift off, if only for a sweet moment in time.

Shay's recently closed eyes flashed open quickly as a click of a lock being opened sounded, loud in the still air. "What was that?" she asked Hera, struggling to keep fear out of her voice. It might as well be a whitecoat, or - Her thoughts were broken off as someone pulled aside the curtain that seperated the experiments from the other half of the room. Six kids stood there, tensed and wide-eyed. A scream sounded from the smallest one, and Shay felt as if she was about to scream too. A hand was wrapped around the smallest kid's throat, and the sound died off.

"Start popping latches," one of them spoke up, sounding as if she were in charge. She was slim and lithe, similar to Shay's build, though slightly more muscled.
