just a collection of things i've noticed about some fantasy movies

Was the Movie Percy Jackson just a Cheep Knock off of Harry potter?

It had the same "golden trio" theme aswell as the "prophecy" theme and "castle" theme. or Do you think it's the other way around and Harry Potter is just a Knock off of Percy Jackson? Or neather.

I don;t know if anyone noticed but in the Movie Narnia Price Caspian they changed it in a major way, cutting the hope for a movie of the Prince's second story in half.

One: they mad ehim way to told in the book he was edmunds age

2: they took out the gaint ( he was an important character)
3: Susan and caspian hook up was corny and to typical

5: the white which never (as far as i can remember) showed up in the book that way (moving a so on) she was talked about but nothing more than that.


Eragon was blotched up as well they left out a tone from the book, in which case in my opinion the movie sucked.

they all think they can be like The lord of the rings and harry potter and leave alot out. However In harry potter and the Lord of the rings, they stook pretty close, no really close to the books. and featured some of the characters in the books as camio characters.

leaving out important characters, themes, ages, and little things here and there can make of brake a movie.

I've read the book Eragon, and I must say it is way better than the movie. The movie was good but they didn't really pay close attention to the book, since when did Eragon have blonde hair and blue eyes? In the book he had brown hair and brown eyes. Also, in the book Brom didn't die in Gil'ead (or however you spell it) he died in some cave or something when the Ra'zac took him and Eragon prisoner..And he wasn't killed with a arrow to the chest, he was killed with a knife in the side. I wish the creators of Eragon had kept the book and movie almost the same or at least payed attention to the details that were important in the book.

now see those were major flaws to me as well, but things get skipped over and forgoten

There were so many things wrong with the Percy Jackson movie...just can't post every flaw it would take forever XD

I actually thought 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif' was an awesome movie, but yes, there were quite a few flaws.

XD i had like 12 monsters befor ei went to see percy and still fell asleep durning the movie, it was dull, and un-refeshing, i like to see fantasy movies with a new theme, it came out to soon, with harry potter still out it was just like "yawn"

I went to go see it with two of my friends, we thought it was a great movie. Heck, I think it's way better than Harry Potter. Though, that might be because I like movies about the gods. I can't wait to see 'Clash of the Titans'.

XD yeah i can't wait to see clash either! i've seen the old ones this new version out to be great
