This fic had a couple parts, not sure how many, the second part will be my second roleplay.
This is actually the story for my first ever roleplay, Ever since I started roleplaying, I fell in love with my character, Rio, which I made my fursona, So I wanted to write a story. Here it goes:
The Adventures of 2 Wolves
Part 1: Forbidden Friendship?
Basic Plot: 2 wolves, from 2 different feuding packs, run into each other. They befriend each other. Since their packs are feuding, they cannot see each other or they will be in big trouble. So they decide to meet in private. They eventually get caught, and are stuck in confinement. They manage to escape, and meet 2 other wolves from a pack. They decide to help, and they helped a lot. Will the feud between the 2 packs be forever? Or can they resolve it?
Chapter 1: The Encounter.
All my life, I have had a normal basic life. I have always wanted an adventure. But it seems it is not going to happen soon. All I do all day is hunt, eat, and sleep. I do not have many friends in my pack. I wish I could just have an adventure once and a while. I get along with almost everyone in my pack. I always seem to pick fights though, but they are just about food or who gets to hunt. I always like to hunt. Usually, when I kill an animal, it takes only one bite, I have strong teeth. The other wolves always liked to make fun of my cat like eyes. I don’t even know why I have them; I was just born that way. My green eyes always stood out while everyone else had brown eyes. Everyone liked how I looked though, that I was unique. I can also hear very well. I can hear something about 100 feet away and no one else can hear it. My name is Rio, and I liked the name, it was cool to be named “River” in Spanish.
So now, it was my turn to hunt. William wanted me to go out because I could collect the most food for the big dinner tonight. I was excited, seemed like it would be a nice adventure. I started to head out, when William walked up to me.
“Hey Rio, I have some requests for what food you get. First, you can get 2 big bucks, then after that you can get a couple rabbits. That is all that you can get. I will have the others take care of the rest,” he requested.
“Okay, I will aim for that. I will return very soon.” I responded to Williams request with excitement.
I ran off, heading into the deep abyss of the woods. I sniffed around, and I pinpointed a target, 2 bucks with large antlers. I snuck behind the bucks and bit one of them right in the neck. The buck toppled down on the way to death. I then snuck upon the other buck, and then I bit the buck in the neck, but something didn’t seem right. The Buck slipped out of my teeth, and then dragged away. I looked over to where the buck disappeared. I saw a wolf, a girl wolf. Man was she pretty. She had pure black fur, and her white eyes were just stunning. Her large ears made me just gasp. Who was this mysterious wolf? I walked over to her.
“Hey, who are you?” I asked.
“My name is Sadie. I am from the Pack of Aire.” The wolf said.
I was shocked. I remember William telling me about the pack of Aire, that they were very mean, crude, and nasty. But Sadie, she didn’t seem like any of those things. She seemed sweet and very friendly. I hesitated, then finally stated,
“I am Rio, from a pack called The Shadow Clan. I have heard all these things about your pack from my pack leader, William and all our residents.”
“I have also heard lots of things about your pack. I wondered if it was actually true, but it doesn’t really seem like it. You seem really nice.” Sadie said.
“You do too. Did I also say you are beautiful? You are just stunning.” I complimented to her.
“Thanks. You look very good yourself. I love those eyes; I have never seen a wolf with eyes of a feline.” Sadie acknowledged.
“I know. I think they are unique. But your eyes are unique too; they just look like they are looking right through me.” I said.
“Thanks. What is that strange marking on your back?” Sadie asked.
“Oh, I don’t even know. I was born with it, and I don’t even know what it means.” I said.
“It might be something that runs in your family.” Sadie said.
“Oh, you know it seems my pack hates your pack, so whenever we meet, it will have to be in a hidden cave, so William does not get me in big trouble.” I said to her with fear.
At the time I said that, I realized that I was supposed to be hunting. Oh no, It is getting late and I have been fooling around talking to her. I need to finish my hunting and head back to William!, I thought.
“I need to go. I am supposed to be hunting and I am due to return it soon. I need that buck to take. We will meet every day in that cave over there in the distance. Nice talking to you!” I said with a joyous tone.
“Okay, I will see you I have to get back to my pack leader, Ayame. She has a temper and will be mad if I don’t get back soon.” Sadie said.
I sniffed her goodbye, and she disappeared off into the distance. I collected the last bit of the food, and headed back to William.
Chapter 2: The Secret Meetings.
The next day, I woke up, eager to meet Sadie. I arose out of my den, and greeted all of my fellow pack mates. I saw William and greeted him too.
“Hey William, I am ready to hunt today. I want to get lots of food for myself tonight.” I said.
“Okay. I will let you hunt and bring us some food. Here are some requests. I want 2 does, a buck, and then a couple rabbits. That might feed all of us for a little bit.” William requested.
“Okay, I will get that.” I said, very excited to see Sadie again.
I went back into the woods, and killed a doe. I brought it to the cave where I was going to meet Sadie. I arrived, and was surprised to see that she was already there.
“Hey Sadie, How are you today?” I asked her.
“I am not that good. When I went back to my pack, they sniffed your pack all over me. I did make up reasons why I smelled that way.” Sadie said back.
“That isn’t good. I hope they don’t figure out we are meeting. That might get us exiled!” I exclaimed.
“Yeah I hope not.” She said.
I didn’t say anything for a little bit, thinking about something. Wait, why did they smell me on her, but William didn’t smell her pack on me?, I thought, confused.
“What happened when you got back to your pack?” Sadie asked.
“Nothing much, I just arrived there with my food, we had the big feast, and then I went to sleep.” I said.
“They didn’t smell me on you?” Sadie asked, very confused.
“No, that is what I am confused about. They smelt me, but my pack didn’t smell you?” I was really confused.
Right when I said that, I heard footsteps approaching about 100 feet away. They sounded like Williams.
“Oh gosh, I have to go; I hear William’s footsteps approaching this way. See you later!” I said, with my ears flapping.
I walk out of the cave, and then see the dot of Sadie in the distance. I approach William and ask,
“Hey William, what makes you wander the woods?”
“I am wondering what is taking you so long. Yesterday you were late coming back, today you are late and I find you with one doe in your mouth and nothing else.” William said, suspicious.
“Oh, it is just hard finding good food. This is the only doe I found. Don’t worry; I will have more food when I get back.” I said.
“I hope so. I will be back at the camp, so be on time!” William said.
William heads back to the camp, while I head to fetch some food. I get a little extra, 2 more rabbits and an extra doe, and then head back. When I arrived, William was waiting for me right at the entrance.
“Hey Rio, Looks like you had better luck finding food this time. Now we can all eat.”
“Yeah, sorry for it taking so long, I will be quicker next time.” I said.
So the rest of the day went well. I ate, then did normal routine, then slept.
The next few mornings I did the same thing, I asked to hunt, and then met up with Sadie every day. We had fun talking. We always chatted about something cool. I headed out at the right time every day, and no one seemed suspicious, not even on Sadie’s side.
Chapter 3: Revealed.
I woke up in the morning, exhausted. I was excited to see Sadie again. I headed toward the woods, to see some of my friends’ right there.
“Hey Rio, Guess what we are going to do today!” They said.
“What?” I said, wondering what they were talking about.
“We are going to head to the pack of Aire, then steal some of their food!”
“Please don’t do that! They need to eat too, and what did they ever do to you?” I said with fear in my voice.
“What? Why are you against that? Don’t you hate them too?” They asked.
I sat there, and thought about Sadie. Wait, if I tell them I am not against the pack, they will get suspicious. I better just play along, I thought. So I played along.
“Oh yeah I am against them. My mind was just a blank there. Sorry,” I said.
So I let my friends go. I have to warn Sadie so they do not steal our food!, I thought with fear. I headed to the cave where I usually meet Sadie. When I arrived, she wasn’t there yet. I waited for a couple minutes, and then she appeared.
“Hey Sadie, I have some bad news,” I said to her.
“What is it? You seem very shaky and nervous,” She stated.
“My friends in our pack plan to steal food from your pack. I would tell them not to do it, and defend you, but they will just get suspicious and find out about our meetings.” I said, really nervous.
“That isn’t even good! I need to head there before they steal it!” She gasped.
She runs off, disappearing out of the cave. I decide to head back to the camp. When I arrive, I see my friends sitting around a big pile of food. William was there too, thanking them.
“What, you stole the food?” I asked, wondering how they got it so fast.
“Yes we did! The pack didn’t even see us. We snuck away and then now we have the food!” they said, with red in their eyes.
Oh no, they have succeeded! How will Sadie eat tonight? I need to return this food back to her. I think I will return it to the cave, I thought.
“Nice work,” I played along.
“We plan to eat all this food for dinner. We will not be eating it until then, so don’t touch it!” William said.
They all left. I started to take all the food, sneakily, and then I returned to the cave with all the food. I knew she would get it when we came back tomorrow, so I just headed back.
When I arrived, William was there waiting for me.
“What were you doing, Rio? Why is our food all gone? Where have you been?” William stammered.
“I-I was out for a walk. Don’t worry about the food. It is safe in storage,” I said, stuttering.
“We have Storage? I don’t recall ever having one. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it!”
“I found a place. I don’t know why you can’t find it,” I said.
“Well, you better find the food by tomorrow,” He said.
“Okay then,” I said.
I headed to my den to sleep. I thought a little bit. How can I get out of taking the food back? I know, I can just hunt for more and then pretend it is the same food! That is brilliant! I thought. I then feel into a deep sleep.
I woke up in the morning; I yawned very hardly, and then stretched. I walked out of my den. I passed William then headed out to hunt and also meet Sadie. I spotted a deer, and then in one bite, It was dead. I dragged the deer to the cave where I meet Sadie. I walked in, and found her there sniffing the food that was lying on the ground. I walked up to her.
“Hey Sadie, I took the food they stole and brought it here. It seems they had it stolen when I arrived, so I brought it back here,” I told her.
“Thanks! You are really nice; I thought our food was gone for good. I am glad you brought it!” Sadie said, overjoyed.
“You are welcome,” I said back. “I almost got in trouble when they noticed the food was missing, I lied and told them that I stored it somewhere and William said that I need to bring the food back. But I was going to hunt for new food and then tell them that will be the food they stole.” I said.
“Good plan. That should fool them and they would never know that we are conversing.” Sadie said.
Right after she said that, He heard footsteps again, but they were closer this time, almost to the mouth of the cave. They were Williams, and they were approaching. How am I going to escape now? He is much closer and there is no way of escaping! He thought. He jumped up and said,
“Sadie! William is coming this way and is very close to the cave. There is no escaping now, so you need to hide!” I said.
“No! You hide! Why do I have to hide, when you are perfectly capable of doing it?” Sadie rejected.
“You have to hide! This is my leader, and he will maybe murder you if he even sees you!” I whispered.
“Fine then, I will hide.” Sadie said, and then she headed behind a big rock.
William entered, and saw me sitting in the cave.
“Hey Rio, what are you doing in here? And why is our stolen pile of food in here?” He asked.
“This is where I stored the food; I was heading here to return it.” I said.
I heard Sadie slip in the corner, but it was very quiet. I hope William didn’t hear that, I thought.
“Oh I see. Why did you put the food here? There was nothing wrong with it being at our camp.” He said, suspicious.
“Oh, I didn’t want The Pack of Aire to steal the food back, so I hid it here.” I said.
This time, I heard Sadie’s paw hit the rock, and it made a loud enough noise so that William heard it.
“What was that?” William Stammered.
“I think it was the dripping of the water in here” I said, nervous.
“That was not dripping water. Who is behind that rock?” William said.
Before I could say anything, He walked behind the rock, and spotted Sadie. He had the red eyes of fury.
“Why is there a wolf from the Pack of Aire in here? Why is she hiding, and why are you hiding it?” William questioned.
“Well-,” I said, being interrupted by Sadie.
“We were talking. I don’t even know why you won’t even let us converse. Both of our packs are just fine. I have met him, and he is very nice-,”
“You be QUIET!” William stammered. “You are from a pack of no good, your pack leader, Ayame, is really bloodthirsty. I will have to consult Ayame and tell her about this conversing. And for you Rio, you are confined to our camp, you cannot hunt, you cannot walk around, you cannot do anything at all!” William screamed at me.
“What? Why are you doing this? What is the problem w-,” I said.
“Don’t even speak! You are going NOW! If you aren’t back at the camp, you will go without food for a week!” William said.
I dared not to speak, expecting to be interrupted. I just headed back to the camp, and went in my den to cry. Why? Why can’t I ever see her again? This isn’t fair. THIS JUST ISN’T FAIR! I thought. I got up, then howled as loud as I could, and smacked the cave walls. It made quite a ruckus.
Chapter 4: The escape.
The next morning, I got up. I walked out of my den, and saw William.
“Don’t you dare head out, Rio. Remember you are confined to this camp. I am going to have a pack member monitor your every move, from all day, to all night when you are sleeping. If you get caught sneaking out, you will go without food for that day. Got that?” He said.
“NO. I DON’T get that. It doesn’t make any sense. What did that pack ever do? How did the feud even START?” I asked, in a purposefully rude tone.
“Don’t sass me! The reason the feud started is a secret, and there is NO way I will ever tell you.” William stammered.
Whatever, I thought, and then walked off.
An hour later, after a nap, I walked outside my den. A friend comes out and scratches me.
“Hey! Why did you do that?” I asked, shocked.
“You double-crosser! I just found out you were talking with someone from The Pack of Aire, like a friend. I thought you were on OUR side! What happened with you?” He exclaims.
“Hey, if you met someone from there, you would be friends with them too! They are a nice pack. There is a mystery behind this feud, and I need to get to the bottom of it!” I said with anger.
“I know their type. They are just greedy selfish jerks!” He said, scratching me again.
“That tears it.” I said.
I lunged at him; bit him lightly on the chest. Lightly enough that it wouldn’t puncture much at all, but will only bleed a little bit.
“OUCH!” He howled, and right when he howled, William came running in.
“Hey, did you just BITE him? Now you have started to cross the line. First, you conversed with The Pack of Aire, now you are getting into fights?” William roared. “Now, you have solitary confinement!
Go to the cave! Stay in there! I want you to DIE in your den, you are worthless. We don’t need you anymore.”
“WHAT? I am NOT going into the cave! I don’t want to die JUST because I was talking to someone from the rival pack! Why don’t you just exile me? That would be less painful!” I cried.
“You deserve to die. All you do is start fights!” William said while shoving me in the cave.
I fought back. I tried to bite him and squirm. It was no use. He was just too strong. He successfully got me in my den, and then before I could run out, William collapsed the cave. Now I was stuck in there forever to die. I lied down and sulked. How could they do this to me? Why am I stuck here to die? This just isn’t fair. I don’t want to die. I like my life. I like Sadie, now she will never see me again, and I will never see her again. I thought, while bawling on the den’s floor.
I calmed down a little and thought about this. Well, if I am stuck in here, I should maybe explore my den and see if there is a way out. I have been in my den several times, but I have never have actually explored it! I thought. So I got up. I walked further in the cave. When I got farther, I saw a river running through the cave floor. This is cool. I have never known there was a river back in my den. This place is just beautiful. I thought. I walked farther and farther. There was a fork in the cave. One way is where the river went; the other way is just a passage. I chose the passage. I walked even farther. About 2 more feet, I heard crying. What is that noise? It sounds like crying. Also, the voice sounds very familiar. Was it Sadie’s? I thought excited to see her. I ran as fast as I could to the voice. I saw light, and then I spotted Sadie. She was bawling on the ground. I walked up to her.
“Hey Sadie! I am glad to find you here!” I exclaimed with joy.
“What… Who said that?” She said, turning around. When she caught sight of me her face changed from sad to ecstatic.
“It was me. I got some bad news.” I said.
“Rio? Is that really you? What is the bad news?” She asked.
“I pushed it on my pack too far. I attacked an old friend, and they put me under solitary confinement, to die in my den. They collapsed the cave.” I said. “I decided to explore and I had no idea that it lead to you! Is this your den?” I asked.
“This is my den. I have slept here for a long time. But, I almost got exiled. Ayame got really mad at me after William told her. Now I am confined to my camp. But it looks like you have it worse.” Sadie said.
Wow, this is awesome; I never knew that Sadie’s and My den were connected! I thought, amazed.
“Well, since I am supposed to die, do you think you can share some of your food?” I asked.
“Sure! But I think we should escape. Go way from these packs.” Sadie said.
“But what about ending the feud? I would like to end it.” I said.
“Why should we? We can just escape and be free of this feud forever, why stop it?” Sadie said.
“Bec-,” I almost said.
What is the point in arguing, she has a point there. I will just agree. I thought.
“Okay then. We will escape. Let’s do it tonight when everyone is sleeping. But one thing, they will notice you are gone!” I said.
“Don’t worry. They don’t care for me anymore, so I can leave.” Sadie said.
Before it was time to go, we just chatted silently, and when I heard footsteps, I hid way back in the cave. Then the time came.
“It is time.” I said. “Let’s head out now.”
“Okay.” Sadie said.
We snuck out. We softly walked. When we made it a fair amount of time, we started running. We ran and ran.
