Are you SERIOUS!? Jaws is one of my five favorite movies! It's like Speilberg's best picture to DATE - with the exception of Schindler's List (that movie made me flat out BAWL at the end). Robert Shaw - the actor who plays Quint, the shark hunter - is absolutely fabulous! Deffinately one of the top ten best films of all time! If you haven't seen this movie, I suggest you go out and see it! It changed the world...!

No, becasue it portrays sharks as cold-blooded killers and anyone who knows anything about them knows that they aren't.

Hey man! Do diss the Shark! He's Jaws, you can't compete with that - well, actually, nobody can - and Quint's death was really cool - at least it was better than the way he died in the book. In Peter Benchley's novel (which was actually less interesting than the movie, which is a rarity in itself) Quint was killed ala drowning as a result of being snarred up in the line attached to a harpoon he stabbed the shark with - after it breaks the boat in half. (I liked the version where he gets swallowed better - he does one of Hollywood's best death-screams to date.)

You sure you're not thinking of Jaws 3: 3-D, Firewolf?
