Well as the title says. when you was growing up. like most kids would of done, grown up on animation/cartoons. like me i grew up on cartoon network which i would still enjoy today if i had the channel and the network didnt replace my fave classics with rubbish..

But heres the point, Post your top 3,5 whatever. basicly you few favorite cartoons growing up and which you could still enjoy even to this day. such as mine which is..

1. Tom and Jerry - I could watch this and laugh as much as i did as a kid. i just love the fact this is a basic cat chasing mouse with no talking (except one liners in some eps and the terrible movie..) All it is is mindless chasing and fun tricks and traps that you would NOT try at home but would love watching these two characters doing. Tom and Jerry.. i hear its name and i feel like watching it again.

2. hm.. Ed, Edd and Eddy. This is another classic i grew up with and as i got many other cartoons i watched with this i choose this one cause of its great scenario.. hand drawn animation. you even can tell its hand drawn from top to bottem. its such a classic, it makes me sorta mad how their new episodes were so much more.. less cartoony. they just looked like any other show, i liked this one for its animation/humor and just all around fun to watch. you got three guys with simular names. Ed being the dumpest but lovable one. edd whos the geek/smart and shy. (though all three character would go shy around girls..) and Eddy who was the jokester and the Man with the plans as i like to quote. I just love the humor of these three very different personality from each other. but somehow all of em are friends and they go around trying to earn jawbrakers.. and im not kidding those things are big! i wonder if any diehard fans went around with extended cheeks from attempting such thing.. i didnt though but i did always love watching this.

Wow i ramble.. but one more!

3. Grim adventures of billy and mandy... Im not sure why i could like this still as its such a weird show o.o The Grim Reaper.. lost in a game of limbo to two kids and had to become their slave.. I feel so bad for this guy! his masters is one lil kid called billy who is... Well just looking at him and you already know whats going on in his mind *Emptyness...* Hes the dummy and most gross of the show.. always going on bout dirty socks and gas and.. bout everything that would make a lil girl scream and guys go ew to.. but that doesnt mean we didnt love him! he was so funny yet so gross but.. so funny! And the other.. is.. *gulps* Mandy.. *Thunder strikes down* Mandy you will NEVER see smile (except one ep when she was forced to.. but if my memory serves me correct it ended up of her nuking the place) She is the bossy, cruel, laid back female character i seen. i always compared this girl to some people at my school to insult. funny how some of them did know and wasnt pleased with my comment.. And im rambling again so Yea. these two have a slave.. the Grim Reaper. the keeper of souls and ruler of the dead.. whos a skeleton with a black coat and with NO guts at all to kill these two kids.. hes so funny and so easy to feel sorry for. hes always a laugh to watch but somehow you enjoy seeing him being tortured by these kids <.< he even dressed as a maid if i remember correctly.. that was just mental o.o

Those are my top 3 Detailed cartoons i grew up with (i feel bad i didnt say that much for tom and jerry.. but its to simple XD Cat chases Mouse.. with many cartoony traps and geting deformed and such but its so fun xD)

So Do tell me and others of your favorite cartoons growing up. any cartoon will do of any age aslong it was ment for kids.

i sorry if i made any spelling mistakes or my bad grammar (cause i know one or two will comment that)

Grew up on "Grim & Mandy"? Dang, I feel old.. I was already grown up when those started airing, I think.

I grew up on Saturday Morning Cartoons (classic TMNT, Denver the last Dinosaur, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Back to the Future: The Animated Series, et al) and After School cartoons (Ducktales, Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck and, later, Goof Troop). And My Little Ponies, classic Pooh, classic Care Bears, classic Strawberry Shortcake, et al.

I was an 80's child, if you couldn't tell.

My fave series back then were TMNT, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, My Little Ponies and, eventually, Goof Troop and Gummi Bears.

Now I'm currently most obsessed with Darkwing Duck.

I grew up watching Sonic the Hedgehog [both TV shows], Talespin, Darkwing Duck, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Superbook, Pokemon, Samurai Jack, Goof Troop, Catdog, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman: TAS, etc.

Just a few off the top of my head.

I can't really put Flying House on the list because I started regularly watching it many months ago, it's when I started appreciating it.
