I personally think Burt Reynolds was the best Charlie simply because his personality fit Charlie's personality the best, also his voice sounded the best as Charlie's. But I did think both Charlie Sheen and Steven Weber were really good Charlie's as well.

Though Charlie Sheen would be a similar personality if you watch Two and a Half Men. xD I was only able to watch like... two (3? if you count the Christmas Special if he was in that) episodes of the series where Weber voiced. I think I was to thrown off by (in my opinion) the horrid animation to really pay attention, but I didn't care for him...

Aughhh. I can't decide between Burt Reynolds and Charlie Sheen. Both have personalities that are pretty close to Charlie's, and they each have something positive to contribute. Reynolds has that grittier tone, which could reflect his con man background, but Sheen has that youthful feel to it as well.

Burt Reynolds brought more soul to the character IMO.

When I found out that he voiced Charlie in ADGTH 2, it took me by surprise, but in a good way. 8] Anyone else find it humorously coincidental how he seems to keep playing 'Charlie's? xD LOL I do xD

Charlie Sheen makes Charlie sound younger, but not too much younger. In my oppinion..Charlie sounded like an old man in the first ADGTH. I completely agree with everything you say, Scout. I also liked Charlie Sheen as Charlie's voice more than B.Reynolds...Maybe just because I'm used to those "younger" voices...

I'm swinging out of left field here, I liked Steven Weber's voice over work the best. He had such a rascally and lively voice, I thought it was a great fit for Charlie's character.
It probably doesn't help that I essentially watched the franchise backwards, started with the series and then watched the other two. I was used to Weber for a good 3 seasons worth of voice work, that his voice, to me, essentially WAS Charlie's.
Burt Reynolds did a bang up job as well, it sounded like he had an awful lot of fun doing it too.
I think that Sheen sounded a bit flat in the second film. Not bad, but not great. Would have been cool to see him do his own singing.
