Okay, so a often wide spread question you can find around the ANimation Source website is 'What is the breed of...?' Well I have seen a few questions about Charlie Barkin's breed, well I've found out.He is Great Dane, German Shepherd, Golden Retreiver, and Collie.And if you don't belive me, here is proof, read the text in the book that Charlie is looking at, it also reveals his parents.

For the picture, yes tahnk you for that.I should've given you credit, I'll put that up.But the picture is the only thing I took, if you talked about the breed I didn't notice it, I was only skimming for pictures of Charlie that might help me figure out his breed.

Oh wow, sorry, I really did not steal anything.I just was looking for the screen shot since I watched the movie tonight and notcied it said it so I was like 'Oh, I could probaly find a scren shot somewhere.' So I looked for it, I didn't steal anything, if thats all your going to come here and do, then please leave, people put up the same questions all the time and it shouldn't matter.

'Cat's mentioned this like a thousand times' Well, that kind of told me that you were hinting that I stole it, I must've read it wrong and I didn't go off on you, thats the bad thing about messages, you never know if the person is telling you off or talking kindly, and I am always shot down for stealing and I never do, its pretty anoying.And for Catwhohas14tails I didn't take anything but the picture and I gave you credit for that so can we please stop flooding this topic with this?I don't want this to become a big fight or anything and never meant it to even become one.So don't reply unless its something about the topic.

I find it funny that he's a mix of all those breeds, but looks 100% German Shepard to me.
I would not even begin to think that he has dane and collie in him.

I agree to, he looks like a pure German Shepherd to me ^.^

I disagree my mom used to have a German Shepherd/Collie mix when she was growing up and it looked a lot like Charlie. And his ears don't point up like a German Shepherd's should. My uncle also had a German Shepherd lab mix and his ears were extremeley similar one was straight up and the other went up about halfway and then flopped down.

True, but his markings are similar to a German Shepherds but one of the breeds are blocked out, i think its Golden Retreiver but I can't be sure, it could be a labador Retreiver

It just says retriever I paused it that same moment and it only says retriever never specifies Goldnen or Lab.

How many breds! When i was young i used to think he was just a german shepherd. Thanks for providing the information. Anyway, he's mum looks weird...she's...pink?! I could imagine why he left home at a very young age XD

ya, and his dad is a blueish green and looks like a creeper x) I would leave to and no problem
