Animation Source Forums

Just an idea, so don't shoot it down if you think it's sucky, but:

How about a way to organize fanfics? I don't know if it happened to anyone else, but my fanfics are out of order because of re-writing, accidentally deleting fics and writing prequels and sequels in the wrong places. Maybe there could be some way to organize them so members can read them in the right order?

And what about adding characters to roleplays?

Some people use characters for roleplays, and it would be cool to tag their profiles to a roleplay they star in. I could see how that wouldn't work though...

I like the fanfic option. That is a very nice idea.

Although the tagging characters in RP's I think is a no-no. It would mean steet having to edit the forum code.

thanks! and oh yeah... i didn't think about that part.

Has this been looked into at all? I would very much support a way to organize the fanfics, especially for the series' that people have. On fanfiction.net and other sites devoted entirely to fanfics, they have a system where, you can submit a fanfic overall, then add to it with chapters and parts and such. Here, you just have to add them all separtely, and if you're working on two things at once, it's impossible for readers to know where to go next, as they aren't connected. Not to mention - having them all spread out like this makes the galleries really cluttered and messy.

As far as the rp stuff: What I do, is put a link to the rp topic in the character's bio.
