Yes, daemons. Never heard the term before? Here is a definition:

Daemons~ They are the animal form of your soul. They are real living beings, but can share thoughts with you, and speak like humans. You can;t stray to far away from you daemon or you will experience actual pain. If one of you die, you both end up dying. As you can tell, they are very closely linked. Your daemon can change shape, but will settle into it's physical form once you start maturing. That form describes you. The daemon is usually the opposite gender of you, only rarely it is the same.

Daemians~ Daimons are people who beleive in daemons, and have made contact with their daemon.

Now that you have an idea about them, I'll get on with the plot. If you have any more questions, PM me, or use wikipedia.com. It works.



Plot:

No one has ever heard of daemons, no one. Until now. A group of teens happen to stumbl e upong their daemon, establishing them as daimons. People found out about this interesting, deeply disturbing event to most, quickly, as the daemon cannot stray to far away fromm their human, and vice versa. THe word started to spread ove rthe web and TV, but most people hated this development. THey thought it unnatural. And when humans think that, they usuallly shun or destroy those that disturb their peace. Now most of the world is against them, all because of a simple discovery. Some people enjoyed the idea, however, and the story of the group of teens helped them find their own daemon. The ran away before anypone couyld find out, some staying and managing to keep it hidden. The group of teens hated being shunned, sometimes chased by the people who wanted them destroyed, and seek to show the world that is in fact a natural development, and rejoin with them, able to live with the rest of humankind in peace. WIth a little help from the few people who found their daemons, but still live peacefully by managing to keep it hidden, can they manage to acheive their desperate goals?

Personality: She is stubborn when she knows she is correct, but will quickly back down if she knows the other has a point. She is loyal and brave and has a natural curiousity. She hates to hurt others, but will stand up for what she beleives in. She will not bend to peer pressure, so is sometimes seen as eccentric, but is just as normal as anyone. She prefers to have a small group of very close friends, and cannot speak in front of large crowds, which is a big pain when giving reports in fornt of the class. She is daring, but is silent, unless she has something to say. She won't butt in, and has an easily riled temper. No matter how stressfula situation, she can keep her head. She beleives in most things, but is not gullible at all. She merely has a different perspective, so most things do not surprise her.

Personality: Practically the same as Maya, but he is more outgoing and less stubborn. He encourages people to try new things instead of just doing them himself. He keeps his thoughts mostly between him and Maya.
Description: He is a grey tabby, but has an almost black coat, with a darker shade of black for the stripes. He has blue-grey eyes and a lighter grey tipped tail.

Personality: Is outgoing, and fun, but gets mad a little too easy. She can be sweet when she wants to and get hunger a lot.

Rp Example: Bree walked through the forest, a back pack flung over one shoulder while her daemon perched on the other shoulder. The air was humid and damp, and an annoying sound that made your ears ring afterwards was heard, echoing through the tightly growing trees. The sun barely made it throught the leaves of the trees, but when it did, Tekka would sped her wings and let the warmth be soked into her feathers. "I really wished we didn't have to stick to the forest all the time..." she said, preening her feathers. "Ya, well... too bad." Bree muttered. Humph! Tekka thought into Brees head.

Personality(optional): She is free spirited and outgoing, for a hawk. lol She likes to fly, but dislikes what grounds her.

Other: Bree put those straps around her daemon's leg so that the hawk wouldn't be able to fly too far, because of obvious reasons.

By the way you said they can't go too far from their humans, (the Daemons that is) but does the 'no touching another person's Daemon' rule still count.

Eye Color: Shy and moody most of the time. She is very unwilling to speak to new people and is mortally afraid of being shunned because of her Daemon. She loves her Daemon dearly and they share everything. Once she gets to know someone she is a bit of a laugh (when the situation is right), and really caring but still a bit shy. She will follow a group like a sheep, doing what people ask her to do unless she feels strongly against it. She is quite intelligent and hates any conflict, well most conflict anyway.

Hair Color/Length/Style: Light brown, just over shoulder length, deadly straight

Rp Example: Only a day. Only a day since everything had disappeared. Her friends had abandoned her, her parents told her she was crazy. Maybe she was crazy, maybe she was just have very vivid hallucinations. But she didn't think so, it didn't feel right to call this a hallucination. She sat on the end of her bed, her legs crossed under her as she watched the creature on her floor explore the interior of her bedroom. She wasn't scared as the small purple creature reared onto its hind legs to reach a few ornaments, its bat-like wings stretching out for balance. It had only been a day ago that he had suddenly burst into existence, yet Zara felt like he had been there all her life. Of course when she had told her friends and family this, they all thought she was mad. Zara had already found out how much it hurt to be too far away from the creature, but also that he was shy with new people and had stayed hidden when she had told everyone about him. This is a very nice snow globe, how did you get the little stuffed penguins in there? The warm, honey-like voice broke through her thoughts. Oh yes, and he spoke to her.

Breed: purple dragon
Personality(optional): Very quiet to anyone and everyone except Zara. Like her he is nervous around new people but is not afraid to be shunned for what he is. He will protect Zara aggressively and often ends up trying to convince Zara not to do something that he feels will put her in danger. Doesn't really make jokes and is very serious, but is the kind of Daemon that would try to cheer people up.
Description: Medium dark purple all over with dazzling gold eyes. He is a bit larger than a large cat but even though he is small he puts up a good fight. He has larger talons on his front claws than his back, and all his talons and spines are dark grey/silver. He had silvery underbelly.
Other: He likes sitting in Zara's shoulder

Personality: Shy, but spits flame longer than a dragon if you irritate him.

Rp Example: Ilac knelt down, looking at the dog that had called itself a Daemon. Quickly finding a first aid kit, he opened it and started looking through the tools. "Let's see... I'll need this, and this, and...hmmm, I should check the break first," he said quietly. He started probing carefully on the Daemon's leg, figuring out how bad it was. The Daemon, who had been asleep, or unconscious, now woke, and spoke to him.

Mind if I join? I'm from TDF, or the daemon forum, and I feel like joining a new daemon-related RPG. Wolflover, are you from or familiar to TDF? If not, I wasn't aware the term "daemians" was so well known. Anyways, my daemon and I are RPing ourselves. I'm Tessa, the daemon's Kaylum Calypso, stable Eurasian Red Squirrel. Personality: A daydreamer, head's always in the cloud. Sometimes quite stubborn when she knows she's right, but if she thinks she's wrong (rarely), then she'll back down. Can be quite awkward sometimes. Hates crowds, tends to be passive aggressive unless she knows you well.
Eye Color: Hazel. Blue-green eyes with a ring of orangey yellow around the pupil.
Skin Tone: Normal, on the slight side of pale. In summer it tends to be more tanned though.
Hair Color/Length/Style: Curly-ish dirty blond hair that is around an inch longer than shoulder length. Always worn down.
Daemon: Kaylum Calypso
Crush: None

Other: 5"5, not super skinny, but not large either

Rp Example: They strolled by the park, Kaylum in Tessa's pocket, fully enjoying the ride.

"Shaddup you little thing." Tessa snapped, but her tone was half endearing.
The sea was a lovely teal color and the sky was a lovely blue color, without a cloud in sight. All in all, they were enjoying themselves.

Breed: Eurasian Red Squirrel

Personality: Tends to be sarcastic and/or harsh but can be rather sweet if you catch him in the right mood. A capricious tough natured little thing.

Other: Has a rough drawling voice, with the exotic throb of that of a cat.
