PLot:

A werewolf was imprisoned in a vampire stronghold, along with many others of his kind. War was clear and in effect between the vampires and werewolves. A vampire who's eye had been caught by a certain werewolf helped him escape, and they both ran away from the stronghold. The leaders of the vampire coven found out, and were enraged. They sent scout after scout after them, wanting them either killed, or under lock and key. Theyhave to evade them, survive the war zone, and force themselves to tell eachother about their love.

Personality: He's quiet and doesnt every really talk, he does his work like he is forced to but when no one is around he practices with his own sword that he keeps hidden. He is cold and abusive if he has to be, he easily snapps at people but its all really a defense, he's fun, and protective but no one has seen that side of him yet

Fen threw himself against the harness, his paws scraping at the ground to get a good foot hold but finding nothing but sharp rocks in his already bleeding pads. He snarled and managed to lug the mining cart full of gold and silver out of the tunnel, his brown fur covered in dirt and matted with blood. He pulled and the vampire's wips snapped through the air, they struck him and he stood there. THe vampires drug him by his neck to his cell and threw him against the wall, before laughing at him and kicking him in the ribs over and over again. As they left Fen changed into his human form and lay on the cold floor of his cell, his back, chest, arms, and hands dripping blood from the wounds, causeing blood to pool up underneath him.

Shay stood by, watching the werewolf laying on the ground, now in human form, his brown hair falling over his violet eyes. She turned away, her heart aching. None of the others had made her feel like this, so why him? She strode out of the room, her icy blue eyes troubled. She leaned against a cool stone wall in an empty corridor, her dark hair framing and hiding her pale face. Why is it him I have to like? Why not a vampire, one of my own species? she asked herself. She couldn't change though, not if she had wanted to. She was overcome with the thought of him laying on the floor in a pool of hid own blood, thin and weak, all because of her. She shook her head mentally.

No, not because of me, because of others. But I can stop it, she thought, the last part firm, her blue eyes now determined. She would break him out of there once night fell.

Fen braced himself and pushed himself up onto his hands and knees. He coughed, blood splattering the cement as his body convusled. He blinked, his eyes blurry, but he could smell a close vampire, he lifted his head and drew in a deep scent, the vampire was female. He thought about asking her for some water but knew he would get beaten for to offenses, one talking to a vampire with out them talking to you first and secound asking for something that was not aloud. He growled and let himself slide back onto the ground. He closed his voilet eyes, his body hurt everywere, the only relief he could get was the cold stone against his bloody body. He listened to more of the wolves being brought in for the night.

Later that night...............


Shay slunk around a corner, her pale skin giving her a ghostly appearance. She hovered at the end of the corridor uncertainly, then snagged the keys from the compartment where they were stored, her icy eyes anxious, her dark hair slightly messy and tangled, flowing back from her face. She silently walked towards the cells, the guard on his rounds. She searched for the right cell, her eyes landing upon one where only a boy was held. It made her wince, but she kept walking, her blue eyes flitting back and forth, no one seeming to notice her. She finally found the right one, and she grabbed the bars with slim ahnds. "Wake up, I'm getting you out of here," she said softly, looking behind her anxiously. "Come on, get up!"

Fen shot up, his somewhat closed wounds reopening and starting to bleed again. His arms shot up, covering his face as he looked away. The guard usually woke him and beat him in the middle of the night for no reason and it always made him defensive. He snifffed and lowered his arms, his voilet eyes blinked as he relized that the vampire girl was the one who he had smelt earlier. He looked at her and hung his head again. It was just a cruel joke, like all the other female vampires did to him and the small boy a couple cells away. His brown hair fell over his face as he looked down at his blood stained cell. He coughed and his voice was rough and husky, a hint of his velvety voice that use to be could be heard.

She twisted the key, the oiled hinges making no sound as the cell door swung open. "Please come, and hurry, the guard should be back soon!" she pleaded, throwing another anxious glance behind her.

His head snapped up again and he stumbled to his feet, he pulled her into his cell and latched the door close, he covered her mouth and took her to the darkest corner of his cell. He pressed a finger to his own lips to tell her that she needed to stay quiet. He went back to were he was before and let himself lean against the bars that were close to the doors but not to close. Just then the guard came back. "Uhg, discusting beast. You shouldn't be able to even lean against these bars." He hissed as he slammed a fist into Fen's gut. Fen staggered back wards and wrapped his arms around his stomach and fell to his knees. The guard laughed and then contiuned on. Fen turned and slowly walked over to the vampire female. He slowly offered his hand to her to help her feet. He relized that this cut up and bloody hand wouldnt be taken but he left it for her anyway.

Shay looked at his hand and took it, thinking it would be rude to leave it there. "THank you," she whhispered, clenching the key tightly in her fist. Peering through the bars, she made sure the guard turned around the corner befire unlocking the cage again, managing to reach it barely. The cage swung open silently.

Fen nodded. He helped her to her feet and watched as she un-locked the door again, while she was he moved some bricks and pulled out some clothes and a sword, which he tightened around his waist. He stood up and looked at her, his brown hair covering one of his eyes as he sniffed the air again, she smelt anxsious, which ment that she really was on his side. He stood at her shoulder like a body guard would do and relized that he was about a foot or half a foot taller then her.

"COme on," she whispered, walking silently out of the cell, beginning to head down a long stone corridor.

He changed into his wolf form and padded at her side, his sences more open, and that way if anyone came along she could have an excuse, that she was beating him. He kept himself lower to the ground, having to put in twice as much effort because of his sore pads and his dammaged body, his walk was uneven with a limp from his right hind leg but he didnt seem to notice it.

Shay crept through the corridor, the dark shadows contrasting against her pale skin, making her stick out and look ghostly and paler than normal. She stuck to the right wall, the stone cool against her white skin. They soon reached one of the numerous exits, and she let out a soft sigh in releif. She opened the small door, the cold night air rushing into the corridor, chilling her.
