Flash was born for adventure. He lived the first few weeks of puppyhood in a rescue shelter for animals. He never found it very interesting there, and when people came to look at the puppies, he'd always looked cute so he could go to an exciting home. When Flash was adopted by the chief of a fire squad, the excitement began. Flash was named by the chief's daughter, and for his natural speed and energy, and the name stuck perfectly when it came to his job. Flash was lightning quick when it came to fire rescues. His naturally all white coat helped repel away heat and he could withstand the fiery fumes, because he was small and his head rarely reached the smoke. Flash had the adventure he wanted... and the home he wanted. A loving, kind family. The daughter, Leah, is his person and he sleeps at her side every night, and guards her.

Patch didn't have the best puppyhood. He was a neglected dog. He lived in complete filth, in the backyard of an abusive family. He came to this home, because he was the runt of the litter and the owner didn't want to end up with a runt. Patch didn't even get to move around too much, because the chain that attached him to the rotting, disgusting, broken doghouse he lived in was only a foot long, not allowing much room to run or play. When the animal police came to investigate, Patch was saved and put up for adoption soon after he was cared for. He was timid and shy , but loving if he gained your trust. He was adopted by the family that owned Flash, and that is where our story begins.

Flash looks like Bolt. He is the same size and the same breed(American White Sheperd). The only difference is that he has no thunderbolt on his side.
This is the color I am posting in.

Oki Hes a Akita (This is kinda based on a true animal i knwo about whos extremly shy =P and is a Akita =O) Hes white underbelly and legs with a white rings arounds his eye (Hence the patch) And Black/with alittle mix of brown for the rest of his fur on the higher level (hope that explains it right) how old are the two by the way?

And where shall we start? the morning after Patch arrival or when he comes home and meets flash? so on

Flash is three, and Patch has to be much younger so that he isn't bigger than Flash. (American White Sheperd males only reach 2ft tall on average.)

And we can start when Patch comes home. (Flash will be waiting for the family to return, and then they bring a new puppy.)

i say.. 1 year old? thats still puppy. - ok

Patch was dazed as the strange moving creature he sat inside was moving and bouncing, almost making him feel sick, he had to keep flintching when strange hands kept touching him from a small girl, he felt like he was going to pass out of all the strange things going on, odd smells and odd moving and bouncing.. and strange two armed things touching at him, He managed to flee to a small damp which was out of reach of the creatures. managing to hold out till suddenly he crashed into the back of something (seat) and heard noises from the two armed people who made their way out the monster, Prodding him to come out to. He kept resisting, feeling more safe in the little bedding between the cushions. But soon something clicks onto his neck that was pulled him out of the car, suddenly every scent of the place went up his nose and confused himself to all the new and clean surroundings.

(So far its him in a car with the lil girl trying to comfort him =P and he fell down into the lil foot places in front of the seats to relax till the car stopped and he crashed into the seat XD sorry for confusion. hes a pup and had to explain everything from his point of view =P)

(Could you make him just a little younger? He'll probably be bigger than Flash, even at a year old.)

Flash heard the door shut, and he knew they must have arrived home. He rushed down the stairs but stopped at the doorway. He growled, unsure of what was going on. In front of him was a strange new puppy, and he had no idea what it was doing in his home.

(I'm just gonna play Leah for this little moment.)

Leah came over to rub Flash's head, like he always liked. "It's okay, Flash," she cooed. "No one can replace you." Young Leah's words soothed Flash only a tiny bit. He growled. "It's not okay, Leah, can't you see the intruder?" Of course, it only came out as growls and whines to Leah. She rubbed his head again and then placed the new puppy a little bit closer to Flash. All the mean while, she tried to sooth Flash with calm words.

(OOh yea true.. 4-6months?)

Patch looked around, after being caruflyl dropped on the floor he quickly hit the deck. Lieing down so he didnt have to stand anymore. Looking up he noticed the little girl touching ata much much bigger dog then himself, This dog reminded him of a scary cruel dog at his old home, he cowered and quickly pushed himself backwards only crashing into the door "Ack dont hurt me!!" He whined loud, memorys of if this was the real dog he feared in his old home would strike him

(I added it as alittle fear of big dogs XD)

(Yeah, that's good. And true, people bigger than me would scare me.)

"See," Leah added, "he's more afraid of you." She slowly went up to Patch to pat him on his head. Flash barked, "So now you're stealing my person too? I don't think so." He darted towards the new puppy and gave him a warning. "Don't come into my home and steal my person. Did I make that clear enough, pup?"

(He doesn't know the Patch's name. the humans do, but Flash doesn't. When he finds out, then I'll address him as patch in Flash's words.)

Patch Blinked before noticing the Dog charged at him. he barked out loud almsot of a whine "I didntwant to i swear! i dont wanna be here! Please leave me alone!" He quickly turned tail and rushed past randomly into a direction in the house crashing into one of the lamps which fell, He managed to find a dark room he rushed into and hide under a random object whining "Where am i?! Why did they let that dog of lead?" He repeated to himself in fear. talking outloud of shock, slowly calmnig down.

Patch was to much in shock to even try resist being picked up, he sat down looking around, on the lookout for the other dog. then he looked up to Leah who kept stroknig him. reliefing his stress and relaxed. Soon he jumped of leah and walkd out the door "Im not staying around if that dogs about.." He didnt care much for Leah, a total stranger to him, Walking around till he came across many odd smelling places with no escape, realising after each search he comes by a floor going downwards, he thought this would be about it, slowly walking down, slipping a few times till he hit the bottem with a bang "Ow! Stupid floor.." He barked out loud, unaware the other dog would hear him in another room nearby

Patch jumped forward and spun around "Ah! dont hurt me! i told you i dont mean to be here.. Please" He cowered lieing down with his paws on his head

patch didnt move his paws from his head but he did open his eyes "I dont want anything from this place.. i didnt ask to be here i prefered it back at that cage.. when it was just me.." He dazed of "Oh im Patch.. Sorry, you aint going to hurt me right?"
