OOC;; So yeah, double post is pimpin' XD Jack will be in TEAL and Castiel will be in BLACK - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The air was warm and a light breeze trickled through the iron bars of a medium sized cage that was half consealed by bricks that was the south wall of a far away castle. Rust plagued every hinge and dotted the slate as it aged, weakening its structure yet not damaging it enough to where one could bend a bar out of place. This place was indeed a hell-hole, and anyone who was trapped within its perimeter was doomed to starvation or torture. However, instead of prisoners who were proclaimed traitors to the tyrrant king, two creatures of lore huddled in a far corner that portruded to the outside world, though only to a certain point. One of them, a young snow-white dragon, curled closer to her twin brother for comfort. She didn't like being kept in such horrible conditions, let alone very small spaces, and feared that they would forever be held as tools for the king. Her bright icy-blue eyes were as round as dinner plates as she peered wearily around through the landscape before her, snapping her head every which way when something caught her attention or spooked her. The young female wasn't at all terrified of the world, oh no, she was just overwhelmed with a sense of insecurity under the control of the evil king. Suddenly the gate to the cage that opened up to the inside of the castle swung open as a guard strode in with two pieces of mutten in his grubby hands. "I don't understand why I'm stuck feeding you two vile creatures. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be stuck in this mess." He was reffering to the recent war and what the result of it was. Such devastation. The guard scowled before carelessly tossing the meat towards the two young dragons, who were chained to the ground by long links of steel, which were locked loosely around both of the dragons' necks. The ivory reptile recoiled closer to her brother's side as the man stalked away back through the gate and slamming it shut. The corridor where the cage was located was once again silent. Once she was convinced everything was as it was before the man walked in, the female cautiously crept towards one of the pieces of mutton, sniffed it, and took a measly bite before turning towards her brother. "I don't like this place, brother." She growled shyly, lowering herself closer towards the ground as she took another bite of meat.

The constant tapping of the rain as it fell upon the metal of the cage and the soothing hum as it fell to the earth helped ease the female dragon enough to concentrate more on her meal than her surroundings. She took measured bites and made no haste in swallowing. Nearly every mealtime the white dragon ate her fill, usually leaving a little less than half of the meat still on the bone. Either her stomach was smaller than her palm or she had adapted to survive with very little to eat. Whatever the reason, the creature moved away from her mutton when she felt that she couldn't eat anymore. Again half of the meat had been untouched.
"I know, sister, but we will find a way out, I promise. I won't let them do anything to you, not as long as I'm here."
Piercing icy-blue optics slid towards the black dragon, her beloved brother, as he struggled slightly to consume his meal. She had watched helplessly as he skipped the past few mealtimes for who knows why, and secretly wished that he wouldn't fatigue himself. If he ever disappeared, the female didn't know what she'd do. The only comfort she had ever known was that from her brother, but deep down a feeling of longing had soothed her insecurity. A shallow rumble that formed deep within her tiny chest vibrated into something of a purr as the white beast leaned toward her brother and affectionately nuzzled his cheek. "I know, brother." She mused, knowing perfectly well that her brother always kept to his word.
Giving her brother enough privacy to finish eating, the little female turned away and sat a few paces away, staring towards the outside world as it was drenched in rain. The refreshing smells presented a sense of renewal to the little white dragon and a feeling of hope that one day she and her brother would escape and live a happy life away from the king. Maybe even find the cause for such intense feelings deep down in her subconcious mind. She was aware that this feeling was caused by the awareness that she must find a certain someone to connect to in order to live the life she, and her brother, were destined to have. The only fact that puzzled her, however, was the fact that she and her sibling have hatched without even the presence of their Rider, let alone the touch that bonded a dragon to its Rider. Why? The female had gathered enough assumptions that her theory had been correct all along; the king, who was also a Shade, somehow forced the two dragons to hatch using some ancient spell that had long been forgotten, or so it was rumored. How did he obtain it? How did he know if broke the ritual between the introduction of a Rider and his dragon? The chalky reptile sighed with disappointment as she could not answer her own questions, but she convinced herself that she'd found out one way or another.
Her thoughts were suddenly inturrupted by the loud clank of metal against a hard surface. Her head swung aroudn to find that her brother had somehow slipped his head through the cuff that was locked around his neck. Bright icy-blue eyes widened in astonishment as he neared her and nosed off the cuff that was slung around her neck and looked at the chain dumbfoundedly. Why didn't she think of this before?
"See, sister, I told you we'd find a way out!"
She was about to thank her brother for discovering that which would have taken her a bit longer to figure out before she noticed that the black dragon had stiffened momentarily. In that instant her acute ears also picked up the light footsteps of an approaching individual, probably another guard coming to clean the cage, or at least toss the remains of their meal into a rotting pile in a corner that was littered with bleached bones and rotting meat.
"Quickly, sister! I'm right behind you. Move swiftly, but escape notice."
The young black reptile gently pushed her closer towards the outer section of the dungeon, urging her to slip through the bars and into the corridor of the castle. Once outside, she peered around warily for any signs of danger. At once she noticed the kreeping shadow of a man as he made his way towards the dungeon door, but she wan't able to sit and watch as her brother nudged her to move. Her limbs worked quickly as she lead the way through the many halls of the lower level of the castle. Her heart was racing and her mind bubbled with a concauction of anxiety and excitement. This could have well been their lucky day! Perhaps it was destiny that allowed them to slip under the nose of the king towards freedom. While rounding each corner, the little female began to grow bolder by the second and more determined to find their means of escape from this stony structure. After nearly getting lost in a maze of stone walls, the black dragon scampered towards a door and easily slipped through a tiny opening near the bottom.
"We made it!"
Once outside, the white dragon was pelted by rain. It didn't bother her as much as she thought it would, and it felt good as the droplets trickled down her scaly body. 'So this is what feedome feel like?' She hummed to herself, closing her eyes and relishing the moment of tranquility. But her moment of zen was quickly shattered when her brother called to her and sprinted towards a wooded area.
"Let us go! Quickly!"
Never before had the female felt the urgency that the ability to fly would come in handy. Without hesitating, the white creature darted after her brother, soon disappearing through the thick undergrowth. Limbs and leaves slapped at her face as she weaved through the foilage, heading in no particular direction in search of a decent place to hide. She was in such a panic that she wasn't aware if her brother had been following or not. But after running for a good few meters, she stopped in a small clearing and peered about her frantically. "Brother? Are you there, brother?" For a moment, the little female felt as vulnerable as ever and so very alone. She instantly sent a prayer towards the heavens that her brother was right behind her.
