I first saw Spirit on DVD, I couldn't afford to go to the cinema when it came out, and my initial reaction was "...WOW!".
I loved it as soon as I saw it, I'd not seen an animated animal movie where the animal characters didn't speak before. The animation was amazing too, I couldn't help staring at the scenes where the horses were galloping. xD
Overall, I adored it and it's been one of my favourites ever since.

I was being annoyed and getting my hair tugged around by my little cousins. My aunt had bout the movie on Tape and I was able to borrow it, and I watched it likve over 5 times that nice. *chuckles* It was my first horse animated movie that I had seen and I loved the animation, so smooth and clean. ^.^
And to this very day it is still my favorite animated movie :'D

I saw this movie in theaters, and I liked it. It has really good cinematography, and while the script seems to... lax, in spots, it's not bad.
One thing that always bothered me is that every time Spirit escaped he headed in the opposite direction from whence he had come, yet ended up more or less where he started.

Actually this all depends on the camera's point and angles. So it would seem that he was going in opposote directions if the camera was horizontally moved along the screen, but of course we wouldn't see this because it wouldn't look right.

I took a friend who LOVES horses to see it. I loved it, as did she. Althou during the "Im Free" song, it went black and just had audio...we were sad. But I accually liked how it was told from Spirit's point of view and none of the animals talked. Very creative!

Aw, man! Talk about memories! I remember seeing the commercials on TV, and wanting to see it SOOO bad! The night I saw Spirit, was incredible! My parents, sib, and I went to a drive in movie theater to see it along with the release of Scooby-Doo (of which my mom's a huge fan). It was a nice summer night, and my dad had the van around, so we could lie down in the back and watch it. IT WAS AWESOME! Loved the entire movie, and I wished they'd play it again! XD That Christmas, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, was the first DVD I ever owned I also got the soundtrack (that I probably listened to so many times until my ears bled), t-shirts, and a Breyer Spirit Kiger Mustang Family 3 Horse Set! ...wow... just realized how big a fan I am X3

I saw Spirit in the cinema. I don't remember my reaction, since it was awhile ago. But I must of liked it since I went to buy the game.

I have this one on cassette tape, believe it or not, and that's how I first saw it. The tape is no longer good(it constantly jumps), nor do I know where it is, but it's a very good movie and you can tell because the main character has, what, five or six true lines throughout the movie? The point is, that shows true craftsmanship if you can pull it off.

I was maybe 5 when this movie came out in Cenimas. I was obsessed with horses, and this film made me even more obsessed. I absolutely loved it, and when it came out on cassette, I watched it nearly every day. Spirit is still one of my favorite movies. <3 I especially LOVE animated films. I hope to become an animator as a career, and Spirit absolutely inspires me to give a shot at animating.

I remember when the first time I saw it was in theaters in 2002. It was an awesome experience! Of course my two favourite characters are Rain and Esperanza. The most intense scene was when Rain got shot and was dying, I got really angry! A little girl in front of me was anxious and upset of what happened to Rain. That Colonial needs a good mouthful and thrashing! But at the end, thank goodness Rain is alive DreamWorks did an awesome job on the movie and I would give this movie more than 5 stars!
