So the Holidays are here, and though I've recently been trying to save my money, and not spend every nickel and dime I either earn or get as a gift, I am in the mood of expanding my animated movie collection. So far, I own the following movies:

Balto 1, 2, & 3
All Dogs Go To Heaven 1 & 2, The Christmas Special, and all three seasons of the TV series
Oliver and Company
Bolt
Fox and The Hound 1 & 2
Robin Hood
Lion King 1, 1 1/2, & 2
Aristocats
Toy Story 1 & 2
Brave Little Toaster 1, 2, & 3

I am looking for a few other animated Dog Related movies to add to my collection. My question for the forum is do you have any suggestions for movies I don't yet have on my list involving Dogs? I can not believe I'm saying this, but I am tiring of watching the same movies over and over again. Thanks a lot!

Well, thank you for your quick response. Some of the movies you mentioned that aren't animated I actually do already own such as Air Bud and Homeward Bound 1 & 2. I have forgotten about the Dalmatian Movies and Lady and The Tramp. I will definitely be looking out for those in stores and Ebay. :D

You're tired of watching the same thing over and over but you still want dog movies?

I was going to offer Aristocats but you've seen that. Poo.

101 Dalmatians is out of the Disney vault on Special Edition, I think We're Back is also out on DVD... it's a dinosaur movie by Amblimation (same company that made Balto), it flopped but it's a good movie

Land Before Time is also dino movie. Not the sequels, the first.

The Iron Giant's a more human one but it is gold

I can't believe no one mentioned Plague Dogs yet. D:
It's an amazing movie, really is.
You could also look up some non-dog related movies, a lot of them are also fantastic. Rockihead posted some really good ones.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm making a list of all the movies mentioned and will be checking them out little by little to see if they are worthy of being added to my collection. :)

Call of the Wild is a REALLY good movie! Though, I'm thinking about the one that was made in, like, the 70's, I think... I know there's a recent remake of it, but I haven't seen that one. Actually, there are a ton of versions of it, all based on the book of the same name. Off the top of my head, I can think of the 70's version, a recent 2000's version, and a made-for-TV version. I'm not aware of any animated ones, but you'll probably find the full list of versions on Wikipedia. XD

But I recommend that one. I think there's also a White Fang movie, but I'm not sure if it's animated or not, and it's more about wolves than dogs.

Other than those, I can't think of any others that haven't already been mentioned.

I recommend:

Ice age 1,2,3(get these for sure
Surf's up(get this one for sure)
Kung-Fu Panda
Jungle Book

And even though this isn't animated I highly, highly recommend that you at least watch sunshine.

Ice Age 1 > Ice Age 3 > Ice Age 2.

In my opinion anyway.

Yea, you don't really even need to see the second one.

Napoleon

and of course others like Homeward Bound and Air Bud
