well you just decribed the song i loved in all dogs of each movie. Infact its one of my favorite songs in many movies. it just so touching and when you think about it, it describes you and a loved one or maybe a imaginary or even a dream, it connects to other things and its one song i cant help but hum or sing to when im alone =) such a brilliant song.. my favorite lyric would be
I will always be with you Like a guardian angel constant and true When you’re lost in the night (Lost in the night) And you can’t see the light (Can't see the light) My love will see you through
I dont know why but i sang those lyrics for hours and i still do when my mind is right.. it just a great song

*sigh* I must say I love how people disregard the human characters in these movies, simply because the majority of characters are dogs. "Soon You'll Come Home" from ADGTH is by far the most sentimental of all of the songs in the first movie, let alone the second movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0EDP9Sf4kENow, why? Well, think about who's singing it. This isn't from a romantic couple who have found love in each other, this is from someone who has never had anyone love her in her life. (And I'm not talking romantic love. That's only one type of love. Charlie's already had several different kinds of love throughout his life. And this hardly applies to Anne-Marie in the beginning.) Under the circumstances, Anne-Marie does not have any parents, and it could be for any number of reasons. Either they've died, or they left her. (Either way, we can tell it was fairly recent in her life because when she tells Charlie she's an orphan, she's very sad about it. Her being parentless was not something that happened when she was a baby, otherwise, she wouldn't remember, and actually wouldn't be as depressed about it. If her parents had died, I think she would've said so and/or started crying. She seemed to buck up pretty fast when Charlie said she'd stay with him. I don't think anyone would get over their parents' death that quick.) Anyway, she's lost her parents somehow. And has no relatives or guardians. But then someone comes along, says he'd give her a home, when all he really wants is to use her to get more money. Then someone else comes along, someone who she thinks this time he'll really love her and take care of her, when all he does is do the exact same thing. She's constantly been lied to, having her hopes up, just so they can be brought down again. This is from a little girl who's holding on to a hope; pictures in her mind, as it were. With everything she's been through, she still keeps her faith in finding a family because that's all she's ever wanted. And she believes that once she finds her family, they will never leave her. (I think one of the saddest parts of this scene is that Charlie isn't in any of the pictures. I think it's a sheer hint to something.) She does eventually get her prayers answered. (Altho it is a real tragedy her voice actress wasn't given the same happy ending from the family she already had.) And if no one else takes this song into serious consideration, altho it's short. I will be deeply disappointed. Lyrics: All I have is a picture in my mind how it would be if we were together.
Let's pretend that you're far away. Lets say you write to me. And you promise in your letter
That you'll come home. Come home to my heart. When you come home We'll never be apart
If I keep dreaming of you Start believing its true Soon you'll come home Soon you'll come home Soon you'll come home To my heart.
Soon you'll come home Home to my heart. Soon you'll come home Home to my heart.
If I believe.

Now, for the first ADGTH movie, "Soon You'll Come Home" is my favourite. Why? Well, to me it fill's my heart with sorrow. That's why I like it.
However, for the second film, "I Will Always Be With You" is my favourite. Why? Well, to me the first time I heard it, it made me cry in both a happy and sad sense. If I die in the near future (Pray to God I don't) I would want this as one of my three songs played at my funeral...

We whine about the stupidest little things, yet this girl holds out hope in the darkest of hours. It's inspiring. I cried at both, I'll admit it. And the second one I'm practicing (Who knows? Maybe I'll record it or find someone on the site to do a duet with) and perfecting fairly quickly. Although I can't be the only one who went "Wait, Charlie's singing voice doesn't fit his speaking voice AT ALL" during I Will Always Be With You. It was much too smooth for his character.

My favourite one in the first movie would be 'Soon You'll come home' because it is quite a touching song, and it makes me think how lucky I am to have parents, when some kids don't have any. I often get mad at my parents and say I don't love them, sometimes I even think I don't, but deep down inside I still love them and I don't know what I'd do without them. The song almost brought me to tears, my eyes were watering but I had to force them back because my cousin was watching the movie with me and I didn't want to appear weak.
My favourite in the second movie is 'Easy Street' because it is happy and up-beat, it's also fun to sing along to. It's catchy and just makes you want to smile when you see David up there, singing, smiling and being happier than he'd probably ever been. Because for once in his life he gets to display his magic infront of a crowd on a happy and sunny street. He gets to show the world what he's good at, and he is also up there with his "guardian angel" singing a fun and catchy song.
My favourite song out of the series is 'Perfect Dog' because it is somewhat a little bit funny. But what's also funny..When Sasha does get the perfect dog, he soon drives her insane with his "perfectness".

My faves are I Will Always Be With You Soon You'll Come Home Let Me Be SuprisedThe first two are touching, and I like to sing 'em. Of course when nobodys home. 8D And they have suprisingly good looking scenes too. And Let Me Be Suprised, is just really good song. I don't actually know, why I like it. Maybe because Charlie keeps talkin' on it. LOL I don't know.

If anyone want's to duet with someone else. I can always lend a hand, I'm use to this record production stuff. And you can always enter The A Factor (Singing competition for AS).

OFF TOPIC
Zion- I would XD Maybe this sounds like bragging, but I think im pretty good at singing. Atleast, I don't think I stink, since I have gotted some good parts from our schools musicals. Im just bad at singing low voices. Im better at high voices. Oh yeah, im in music grade, so I sign a lot because of it.

"Hold it! Hold it! I know we're dead up here, but so is the music! Come'on. Speed it up."
With the ADGTH music, I'm a really big fan of the more upbeat stuff. I'd have to say that my favorites (in order) are:
1. It's Too Heavenly Here (really like the upbeat parts, <3) 2. Clean Up Your Act (too bad I can't find a version with out the movie SFX in it, >=) 3. On Easy Street 4. Let Me Be Surprised 5. I Will Always Be With You 6. You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down 7. Christmas Carol 8. What's Mine Is Yours
Those are the eight that I usually listen to each at least once every 2-3 days or so on my way to college. I'd love to say I'm a great singer at all of them, but I'll have to be honest and say that I'm not, XD. I think I do great on Charlie's parts for On Easy Street, I Will Always Be With You, and Christmas Carol, but I'm not so sure with the rest. I'd really, REALLY, love to be able to sing in the perfect tone as Charlie's parts in It's Too Heavenly Here and especially on Clean Up Your Act, but I'm still practicing. I love to sing though, and it's definitely one of my favorite things about the ADGTH series.
