PLOT:

THere are 2 snow leopard tribes (or would it be packs...or what???) One good, one evil. o.o Ayela and TAlly(me) are in the evil one. THey are sent on a Recon to spy on the good tribe, and realize that all that they have been taught, that they opposing tribe was horrible was all wrong. It was the other way around. SO now they fac a choice, betray their tribe, or stay evil?

Ooc//: Should we have individual parts for the leaders and some other snow leopards in the tribes or will we both play them as secondary characters?

Personality: Ayela is a a big thinker and she is spiteful to who she doesn't like. Sometimes she seems as though she is about to claw your ears off but really she's just trying to be friendly in her own...weird way.

Ayela leapt from boulder to boulder up the side of the waterfall. She scrambled for a claw hold as a rock fell from under her feet. She too excited to be afraid of falling though. Today, Raquin would hold Tally and her own acceptance ceremony. The acceptance ceremony was where a snow leopard who had finished his or her training would be accepted as a full Snow Leopard. The night of the ceremony, it must snow to show that their ancestors accepted them. Ayela heaved herself up onto the last boulder and peered over the edge to Tally, who was following her.

"Come on! Raquin hates it when we're late." She was so giddy that she couldn't keep still, she was shaking with excitement from nose to tail.

Tally leapt up onto the next rock, her claws extended for purchase. SHe landed lightly, excitement coursing through her, making her turqiouse eyes shine. "I'm coming!" she said, leaping gracefully too where Ayela was standing. Snow was starting to fall, a sure sign that it was the beginning of winter. She flicked her tail as a white flake landed on her nose and melted there. 'Come on then!" she called as she leapt to the next boulder. THis one was smooth, and it was hard to find purchase. Her back paws scrabbled on the rock face, drawing a few sparks until she flung herself up. THe air was crisp and cool up her, it's rejuvenating smells filling her with yet even more excitement. SHe stared down on Ayela, the waterfall roaring bahind her, filling the gap in between them with a slight mist.

Ayela leaped up beside Tally with great agility. She shook the soft snow from her pelt as it began to sink through her fur and onto her skin underneath. She held up a paw and lapped at it, making the ice that covered her claws melt. Once her paws were decent, Ayela turned to her best friend, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"We're near the campsite!" She mewed, sniffing the air and detecting a faint scent of her tribe. "Race you!"

"One second," she said, following Ayela's example and melting the ice and snow that clung to her paws like burrs would to fur. "Now, go!" she cried, getting loud at the go. She burst off, her paws digging uselessly into the snow for a moment, then propelling her across the snowy landscape. She quickly gained speed, wind whistlling through her fur, her tail streaming out behind her. Her paws left shallow tracks as she ran in graceful bounds, a white blur against white snow.

Ayela turned tail and streamed after her. She laughed as Tally's tail ticked her nose and pulled herself forward, attempting to pass her up. Her paws sank into the snow with each step and she felt snow building up in between her claws, but she didn't stop. The snow was falling thicker now and she shook her head as snow fell into her wide eyes. When she closed her eyes, she lost sense of direction and barreled into a tree. Below the tree's roots, the ground fell away into a sheer cliff. Ayela screamed in terror as she tumbled over the edge. Her scream was cut off abruptly as she caught onto a limb that dangled on the side of the cliff. Her claws dug deep into the thin limb and yowled for help.

"Tally! Help me!" She wailed.

Tally skidded to a stop and immediatly changed directions, her light eyes wide. "Ayela!" she yelled as she reached the edge. Her clear eyes strained to see through the thickly falling snow, and her tail flicked from side to side anxiously. Her claws dug into the edge of the drop, and she forced herself to gaze oover the edge, her head swimming with vertigo, filling her with fear and the certainy that she was going to fall.

Ayela had to squint her eyes to see through the snow. At first she felt panic, unable to see Tally. She then saw the faintest outline of her friend peering over the edge, the scent of fear coming from her. Ayela felt the limb start to bend as more snow built up, gaining weight on the weak limb. Frantic, Ayela tried to think of a solution. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head.

"Tally!" She yowled over the sound of the roaring wind, "Get a long branch, a strong one."

Her claws began to ache with cold as ice glazed them and snow that froze between her pads hurt. Ayela's stomach flipped as the limb dipped again, the wind making her flip over and catch a glimpse of the bottom of the cliff. Gasping in shock, she realized the cliff fell away into a steep gorge. If she slipped, her life would end.

Tally's stomach was knotted with fear, her claws griipping the ground hard. She oulled her gaze away from her dangling friend and the steep and lethal drop underneath her. She heard Ayela's order, and her mind cleared slightly, allowing coherent thoughts. Her clear eyes searched frantically untill her gaze alighted on a sagging tree. She quickly ran over to it, the deep snow making it hard to run, and hard to push off of. She tore a branch away, adrenaline and fear making it easy. It was long and supple, it would have to work. She dragged it through the deep snow, leaving a furrow behind her. SHe dangled it over the edge, the weight at first taking her by surprise, almost making her lose her balance, which would be fatal.

"Here, take it!" she managed to say around the rough branch. Her claws were one again digging into the snow, and she wanted to run away from the sheer drop, close her eyes, make it disappear somehow. But she couldn't, she was frozen by fear at the sight of it, and she had to force herself to do this, to stay calm, to help her friend, who was wiude eyes and slipping from the snow-laden branch.She braced herself for the extra weight of her friend, wanting this to be over.

Ayela clenched her teeth as the limb dipped and rolled over again, sending her flopping in the air. Opening her eyes once the limb was still, she saw the dark tip of the branch. Ayela looked down once more at the gorge and quickly clawed at the branch until she got a good grip. Before letting go completely, she pulled at the branch with her paw to test how sturdy it really was. She winced as she let go of the branch and flashed her free paw forward to get another claw hold of the branch. To her surprise, the branch sagged under her wait and the swaying limb that she had previously clung to slapped her on her flank. Ayela caught the salty tang of blood and the branch sagged farther.

She then saw her chance. A dip in the cliff side gave her a stoop to grab hold of. She leapt from the branch to the dip and pulled herself up slowly, her fur standing on end. Ayela gasped as a large gap between her and the top of the cliff had no claw holds. She took a deep breath and launched herself up with powerful hind legs and scrambled up the rest of the way and next to Tally. She flopped down beside her, shaking with fear and triumph.

"Thanks Tally, you saved me!" She mewed, licking her claws that ached painfully now.

"No problem," Tally gasped, practically just as afriad as AYela had been. She quickly scrambled away from the edge, vertigo claiming her, making her feel dizzy. She closed her eyes until she was sure she was far away, atleast far enough so where she wasn't looking down at the drop. "We better go, I don't want to stay here any longer," she said, throwing one last fearful glance at the ledge that seemed so inconspicous form here, the snow that was falling thickly now hiding any sign of danger, which in reality made it all the more dangerous.

Ayela padded painfully after her, limping and leaving small splotches of blood in the snow from her torn pads. She angled her ears back at the cliff and she felt as though something about it was pulling her back. She cast a glance over her shoulder and saw a gleam of eyes staring at her from the other side of the gorge. At first, she was terrified, but then she caught a familiar scent. Ayela suddenly realized the gorge was the border between their rival tribe.

"That was the border!" She exclaimed out loud.

"Well, we know not to cross it for sure," she said, her ears flicking. And how true that simple statement was.
