Everyone knows the Legend of Zorro. The Black caped Cowboy of the MExican West, saving people and righting the wrong that was done in injustice! How Zorro disappeared for so many years, only to reappear again!

After the brutal struggle, Zorro triumphs, and peace is returned to Mexico at last... for now. No one knows how the caped Nocturnal Vigile Antie was save for few. His wife Ellena, the oldest house servant Jeff and his son, and Alejandro's (Zorro) himself.

Soon, the stories of his greatness had passed through his family into a fable story... and story turned to Legend... but no one knew Zorro's greatest secret.

Zorro was the first Animalian: The Black Fox as his name sake stated.

For now, peace ruled and Zorro was thought to have disappeared forever.

Five thousand years after the Human Era, the Five Great Continents of the world (Save the polar Caps) have converged into one giant world... the Animalian Race no longer fears extinction for their powers and thrive as humans finally go extinct.

But all is not entirely well with the world...

In the Cactus Deserts that use to be Mexico, the old Lion King dies... leaving no heir to his throne and his wife had passed on. In his place a struggle for power heats up once more! The Nobles battle for who will become the rightful ruler and the people suffer under their childish bickering.

If something isnt done soon, War will rage between the Animalian Beasts... and there will be no stoping it this time... unless...

In the house of Noble Foxes, a young female She-Fox named Sorra rises in her powers... as the only Black Fox since the Human Era.

Nearrah isnt a noble in any means. She's a common Animalian and prefers it that way, working for her meals and keeping mostly to herself. Her Great Grandfather, whom raised her, Jeff is a Guard within the Noble Walls tells her of the struggles to see who will finally take full charge of the Desert Region.

She hears her family's legend about her ancestor,t he first Zorro of the Human Mexican West. At last, her path is clear, and like her ancestor before her, she must right what is wrong within the Deserts that is her home.

When one Noble named Rath becomes a higher issue within the courts, Jeff asks his only granddaughter to take up the manlte of Zorro. 'If Rath' he says 'ever gains full power over the Desert Regions, it will mean the end for us all.'

And so... The Legend breathes again!

Breif History: Sorra's parents died when she was a Kit, leaving her very old grandfather to care for her. Not really caring about nobilities, she speds most of her time in her work as a Horse Keeper in the feilds, as well as a Racer (An underground Horse Racing ring) at night. With the knowledge that her grandfather has told her about her ancestor, she's taken up the mantle and becomes the legendary Zorra.

Breif History: He was the smallest out of his litter, so his parents wanted to just kill him off early so he won't have to suffer, so he has many scars from failed attempts to kill him. He soon ran away to find a better life for himself, and he found Nearrah's family, so he is now 'part of their family', but he falls in love with Nearrah, even though she has her eyes on Zerdo.

Breif History: He was a part of the royal family since he was a kit, but he was kidnapped when he was only 10 Summers old, and left for dead in an abandoned tattoo parlor. He got into the ink and was left with permanent red and purple streaks and spots that he still has.

If I may make a suggestion? Why not make Kio one of the hero's of the story and create him as the Noble? It'd be hard to play a Zerdo character as well...

Grandfather must've had a tiring day... Nearrah thought, setting his food near his bed of straw. The older Fox was already deep asleep and snoring, making her smile. Thinking back to her kit years, she found it astounding that her great great grandfather had made it all these years when her parents hadnt. The thought twisted at her heart slightly... but it was immediately banished. I should get moving soon.

Going to the den entrance, she swept up her cloak around her shoulders and took her black as night stallion with her to the Racer Meet. A new challenger had arisen a few nights ago... a challenger that probably needed to be met.

Kio was sitting on his bed, dreaming while he was lying awake. He wasn't tired, despite the hour. He prayed quietly, but all the while thinking about Nearrah. She was always like his sister, but now she was more than that. He finished up his silent prayer and got up to go to his old hideout in the abandoned racetrack. He knew that Nearrah was there, and he loved to watch her speed around the track like nobody's business. Kio tramped out of his room and followed Nearrah's pawprints to the track. He took a seat way in the back, so she wouldn't spot him.

Kio heard Nearrah and a newcomer quarrel a bit before the race. He whispered to himself, Come on, Nearrah, show him what you're made of.

Ralton entered the arena and mounted his dark chocolate brown stallion and pulled on the reins, shortening them. Then, with a small kick to the sides of the horse, it trotted forward and stood next to Nearrah's stallion. Ralton leaned over and asked, "You think that new guy's any threat to us?"

Ralton was a good sport, so he didn't freak out when Nearrah passed him on the track. He simply held his heels to his horse's, Nexio's, sides. He was neck and neck with Nearrah when he yelled to her, "Freshman! 2 o'clock!" Signalling that the newbie was catching up to her.

Kio cheered in the stands, paying no mind to the fans near him staring. Nearrah was a legend at this game, and he knew that she would win. A newcomer was creeping up behind her, though. He'd never seen this guy before, but he wasn't worried. It was just another challenger, hoping to become the new champ, but just wait 'till his dreams are dashed by one of most talented riders Kio's ever seen; Nearrah herself!

Ooc:// So are they all humans right now, or foxes?

Ralton pushed his horse even harder, feeling that it was now his responsibility to win the prize money to take care of Nearrah's sick grandfather. "Come on, Nexio! We gotta win this!" he called, and, as if Nexio understodd, he hopped a bit, then bolted forward even faster. "Good boy!" Ralton cheered as he climbed closer and closer to the finish line.

Kio saw the smoke signals as well, and he knew what those meant. He jumped out of his seat, past the dumbstruck successors, and down to meet up with Nearrah. "Nearrah!" he called. He wanted to know what was going on with her horse. "What happened out there?"

(Sorry, I didnt make it clear in the plot... my bad. Animalians are Human-appearing animals. They're called by their Animal forms, but have a humanoid form as well when needed *most of hte time* Think InuYasha Sorry... it's my bad on my part.)

Nearrah looked and saw Kio, clamping a clawed hand over his mouth once she reached him. "SHH! I cant say anything right now... I have to go." Not knowing that Kio may know her secret, Nearrah kicked Tornado swiftly in hopes of making a clean getaway from the ring.

Reaching hte cave, she morphed more into her Animal, hte Black Fox... Zorra. Her tail twitched at her side and her ears became sharper, mroe alert. Tying hte mask over her eyes and checking the sword and knives to see if they needed a quick sharpening. She mounted Tornado once more... and took to the cliffs.

The Guard crowed out in laughter, seeing as he made it second, before the female rider. "Well it's about time this horse was good for somethign!" he slapped his mount and dismounted. "Good race everyone!" eh tried, jolily... "Hey... where's that girl with the big mouth and attitude to match?!"

A young Noble sat at the caves, watching as Zorra rode up. She ran up and helped her down. "Zorra... oh thank the Heavens you came! Rath is planning an attack on the West Villages. If something isnt done, my sisters may die!" This young and loyal Noble friend was Treiya, a Leopard. She was considered low when it came to her class, but she was extremely good in politics and mad eher an asset to anyone who came for power... even Rath.

Zorra scowled. The West Viillages? what could possibly be there that Rath would want to attack for? She bent down to hte younger Noble and touched her head. "Hey... nothing bad will happen. You called me now, that's all that matters." Taking her mount, she rode through an old entrance into the castles... time to stir up trouble!

Kio shut up immediately, for he didn't want to spoil Nearrah's plans for... whatever she was going for. He heard the new guy bashing Nearrah so Kio strode up to him and pointed. "Hey, I wouldn't trash the name that was about to beat your butt at this race!" Kio always stood up for his friends, even if they deserved to be trashed. But Nearrah never deserved anything bad. She never did anything so bad.

Ralton slowed down his horse as he crossed the finish line first, and when Nexio slowed to a walk, Ralton raised his fists in pride. He spotted Kio, so he cupped his hands around his mouth and called, "Hey, Kio! Not bad, eh?"

Kio looked past the newbie at Ralton and gave him a thumbs up. "Great run, Ralt! Teach me how to do that sometime!" he walked past the new guy. He wasn't worth it anyway.
