I never really cared for it ( I don't send fanarts often), but I see your point.
This is a Balto site, and members need to have Balto-related things. (Images/art and all that.)
And the nickname, I never really thought it was that big of a deal. (Then again it's just not that big of a deal for me)

Well said, baltosimba16. Lately this site has been a furry source, instead of Balto source. I don't get why people can't draw a Balto characters. I mean, for god sakes, this is a Balto fan site. If your not willing to do that, then your not a Balto fan. This site has come down to an all time low when it comes to sending Balto related anything. The only thing anyone cares about here is their own characters.

Au contrairé, Mightybalto1925, the rules regarding Balto fanart is set to get a bit stricter. There was quite a bit of discussion of banning people coloring in lineart to make it a Balto character, and people labelling things Balto art when they are not.

Although, people wanting to draw their own characters is expected, because they're their own creation.

No. It's not hard to draw some balto fan-art. Same goes for LK and TS too.

Bawlbo is just a take-the-mick name. It's not exactly the end of the world and if you think about it, makes their picture look bad.

Balto's not a furry. He's just yet another cartoon animal that furries tend to like.

I also feel the need to correct some of the furry-facts here...

A furry is:
A person who enjoys anthropomorphic artwork and movies and engages in "furry" sites, music, conventions etc.
Not every furry wears "fursuits". In fact, only about a quarter of furries actually like them.

Keeping to the point; Balto fan art belongs here more than your OCs. Seriously.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I agree with whatever you stated above. The rules are strict. But think about, it's just one Balto drawing for what? 25-30 non-Balto art? Come on....Balto Fan site, obviously needs Balto related content, "am-i-rite"?

Also, Balto art =/= furry.

So yeah. What YOU have to do is called "animal related art" fan work, not furry.

As for the Bawlbo joke, you can blame it on me. I think I was the first person on this community who nicknamed Balto like that on the Shout Box like two years ago. (I also posted fan art with that title, because I wanted and I "like" it, not for other reasons) So no hard feelings....it's got nothing offensive.

I don't get that message because I actually make Balto graphics. You know, like what the site was intended for? (I'm going to go back and count how many Balto versus OC graphics I have.)

Please, for the love of BS, ban coloring in Kay Fedewa lineart as a Balto character and calling that enough to fill your quota. It's just plain lazy. But then again so is filling your entire gallery with horribly colored lineart.

It doesn't bug me that people call Balto Bawlbo, it is just a nickname but yeah sparkledogs shouldgo, somewhere else!
