plot:when connie starts talking to animals she knows something is wrong. she then finds out shes a universal (that means she can talk to myithcal creatures and non myithical creatures). she then meets col a campanion to albino gryffon and finds out things are not what they seem. expshily if kullverlo is after her powers.

connie tuched her black hair and looked at the sky col was riding skylark again she had never rided sky but col told her it was his life. it had all happend last week she had began to talk to creatures she was the only universal on the planet mr coddington did not like her.

kullverlo waited for one of the sirens (birds with beauiful womans heads lure sailors to there death by singing) to return one of them came and told him that thier was another universal he was happy another universal would die or join him.

col saw connie "skylark come on lets try to scare connie before argrand comes along" he laughed it was hopless she never got scared but it was worth it.

"Sure, but it'll turn out the same way it did last time," she said, her wings beating faster in order to keep them both aloft. "In other words, like,'You didn't sacre me, you never can',' she said in a falsetto bored voice that sounded almost exactly like Connie's. Her wings folded a bit, and she went into a steep dive, adding some corkscrews for extra effect. She straghtened out, high enough that Connie was still small, but not low enough for her to see them all that well. Sky shook out her wings a bit, the feathers ruffled from the high altitude winds. Sky was laughing slightly, she loved flying, especially with Col. "Let's go try to scare Connie," she said, emphasis added on the try.

col laughed "okay we have to try or i will never forgive myself" they had only scared her once "lets do it now and watch out i olny have £4" col laughed "with it i could buy you a present".

connie did not notice them her head was thumping like a drum a creature filled with hate was trying to talk to her.

kullverlo grinned he was almost there he just hoped they didn't notice so he still could talk to her.

"Same way as last time?" she asked quietly, divinig slowly, spiraling above Connie. The last way had been for her to fly above Connie as silently as possible, let Col do whatever he was going to, and then laugh at Connie if it worked, laugh at Col if it didn't and say 'I told you so'.

"no hide behind her house and come silently behind her and scare " he grinned it had to work he had thought aboutt it all night.

connie as still unaware of them.

kullverlo sang happily "i want you universal" in his friendly tone of voice. he was in his favorite form a black hawk.
