Do you think the Animation Source Forum should make a Christmas makeover? I think it'll be pretty cool.

Sounds like a cool idea to me.

I'd love to see a holiday design. It'll put more excitment in the site. Plus, there's nothing wrong with trying new things.

So as you can see, I say yes.

What if(not in a bad way AT ALL) a Jewish person comes on AS during the holidays? They'll be wondering, well, how they don't get a Hanakuh(sp?) redo? Or mabye someone who celebrates Kwanza(sp?) will be on as well.

People who don't celebrate Christmas will probably think it's better if the site gets an international holiday update. That woul work out better I think.

But also, another downside. Steet? Remember him? He has to do all of this(maybe along with some help). So, how would he remeber to update this kind of stuff? And, besides, let's face it... it's up to him and Togo(seeing that he is an admin as well).

Maybe we could just do a wintery design instead?

That or a design that involves ALL wintery religions(Christmas, Hanakuh, Kwaanza).

Christmas is not a bad thing, it's a very good thing, if people don't like it. Who cares? Does it stop people from having Christmas lights? No, so why shouldn't we celebrate.

I don't see what's wrong with it. As I say, don't like it? Then leave.

However....

Takes less then five minutes to install and upload a theme, I've done it myself.

Personally, I like the snow too xD I turned it off sometimes though, 'cause it got annoying sometimes. However, that's why I liked it so much, I could turn it on or off =D

Anyway, as for making a theme with more than one religious tradition...I don't think so. I think it'd be a bit much to make such a huge deal out of it. I mean really, there are countless religions out there, and we're bound to miss some, soo...it surpasses the point. Although, I think doing a winter theme would be nice though that way no one is left out at all.

Wintery theme for the win.

We have plenty of Christmas references when people upload their Christmas avatars and/or signatures. Same goes for any other holiday.

Unless steet creates a theme for winter. We are limited to those on the phpBB website and those on private sites that provide themes for phpBB forums.
