Are there any Haunted locations in your area? I know there's a ton here in New Jersey, The Spy house being the big one. Just curious to hear about any other haunted places across the US or even around the world. here's a small article about the Spy house http://theshadowlands.net/famous/spyhouse.htm

My house is haunted =p
Close enough I'd say, although I haven't made any Internet article of it yet :<
On a side note, my town's Church seems to be haunted too. Its bell rings 8 times every midnight as the clock hits 00:00. And that's rather spooky when you're standing just outside the building, chatting with some friends on your way home from a party and suddenly hearing the bells go off above you.
Yay for empty, bell-ringing churches!

I dont know full names or the haunted reasons of these locations i know but i doo know they near my area.
If your in england or prehaps the shows in america to. We have a show called Most haunted, where a team of people go into a haunted place to find spirits and such. very popular and the halloween one was set in Morecambe which is very nearby to me. it was some kind of theater and supose to be one of the most haunted places as it had most activates . The other location was in my mum and sisters opinion the most haunted and so dangerous they dont let the crew of most haunted go there as its way to dangerous for them. it was i think some Abandoned insane asylum. or hospital.. one of them and it made me think. Would you go into a insane asylum.. at nighttime.. Alone? to me thats very scary. and i think the location is nearby me to but i never seen or heard of it as i forgotten the name..

There's a local spot in the woods of my town, about three blocks from the high school, that I'm told is haunted.
In Tilton, Illinois there's the old grade school (currently being torn down >: ) near the new Hystorical Society with two spirits -- Heather, a little girl, and an unknown male entity that's not-so-nice. I've had countless personal experiences there: Hearing her voice, people walking, hearing and seeing the man upstairs, my being touched, mysterious music playing (when there are no working players in the building), hearing a little child laughing and playing. Things of that sort -- all while everyone else who was in the building was right there within touching distance of me.
One woman even got an image of an orb -- a ball of energy said to be spirits -- when she took a photograph of the haunted house coordinator, B. Fields. Showing it to me, she zoomed in on the orb where you can see an obvious "spiral," making it impossible to be a speck of dust or light flare.
When I was touched I was sitting on the panel between the second (ground floor) and third floor. Most of the activity occurs on the third. At the moment I was in "sad mode," being sad for not being able to spend more time with my boyfriend. I saw the silhouette for a moment of a girl sitting in a chair about ten feet in front of me that was like a shadow, and later felt the cold touch of a tiny hand on the side of my face as I wept silently. "If that was you, Heather, touch me again." It was a whisper, but it happened twice more.
If the building wasn't being demolished, I'd go back and do an investigation with more "tools." >:

By my school, there's this old Mental Hospital up on the tallest hill in the area that you can see from just about every classroom. It was turned into apartments a few years ago but the main building still stands and people says it's still haunted. A lot of the patients there were abused, and the hospital was shut down eventually. but under my school and out into the woods behind it, there's nine mile tunnels that lead up to the hospital that was used to transport medicine. We're not allowed to go near it but a lot of my friends have gone there without permission. I haven't seen them myself but they're supposedly haunted to, and when you go inside you can hear the echo of screams and people talking.

The only link I can direct anyone to pertaining to the discussion about the school's being haunted would be the city's forum ( tiltonil.com ). Unfortunately, I don't think it's running any more, as I can't find a link... I could try to talk to mayor into letting me and a few others into the building for a night to conduct our own "paranormal investigation." However, given my current condition (7 months pregnant), I'm not sure how in favor of that he'll be; and I'm too into this sort of thing as to conduct the studies from afar. Lol

Glenn Dale Hospital. It's only a short drive from where I live, and me and a few friends went inside on Halloween. We would've taken pictures, but it was pitch black inside and nothing would have shown up anyway. Description from Wikipedia: Glenn Dale Hospital was a tuberculosis sanitarium in Prince Georges County, Maryland in the United States. It is a large facility, consisting of 23 buildings on 210 acres (0.85 km2), that was built in 1934 and closed in 1982 due to asbestos. Though it is now closed and will be eventually demolished, for decades it was an important public health institution near Washington, D.C. Park Police patrol the hospital grounds regularly.
The buildings are characterized by broken glass and overgrown vines. Several of the buildings also have collapsed roofs.
The children's hospital building and adult hospital building are the most widely explored structures by local trespassers. This is primarily due to their close distance to Glenn Dale Road, a local street that bisects the hospital grounds.
Both the children's and adult's buildings are connected underground by a series of underground walkways. These walkways join the basements of both buildings together. The basements of the hospital buildings are extremely dangerous. Large pieces of rusty, sharp metal and debris hang from the ceiling. Also, the buildings contain large amounts of asbestos. Each hospital basement has its own morgue. Today, these walkways are littered with garbage, broken glass, and graffiti. In addition, parts of the walkways are flooded with nearly 3 feet (0.91 m) of water.Supposedly it's haunted, but we didn't really witness anything worth posting. No doubt that it's hella creepy though :O Some pictures I found: Best way to get in is through that broken window on the first floor >_>

It's in the next county over from me. In the day time, it's actually a museum, but all the "paranormal activity" happens during what they call the "witching hour" (3:00am)

I live next to an abandoned underground house. No idea if it's haunted, but it gives me the willies. I was told by my neighbor that the guy disappeared. What makes it more creepy is, my Dad wanted to buy the land and get that place torn out of there, and somehow he managed to see if there were payments being made on the place, and there is. If there are payments being made on the place, then why isn't there never anyone there? Creepy eh?
