This should be interesting. I would join it but my voice may not be mature enough for an american idol type singing sound.

Why is no-one interested? Because you all have wonderful voices!
Anyway, Conor, I'll participate as a contestant. I'll be on the site sending my application.

If it wasn't for the fact that commercial home-standard microphones weren't absolutely TERRIBLE at recording singing, maybe more would enter. However, that is where this competition is stuck.

Ah, yes. I totally agree with you.

Conor, can we just use the best we can get?

As long as I can hear you sing loudly (I hate it when you get people whispering into the microphone) I don't mind.

asically if your voice is louder then anything else and it doesn't sound like "I wooood wook fivehundrad milz". I've tested with my microphone, which is very poor, but I found it rather easy to analyse. Obviously I may need to listen to it twice.

oi. as a Scottish person, i find that a little offensive.

Anyway, I might consider joining this. It's a very fresh, interesting idea. any particular songs we need to sing, or can it be one of our choice? because my voice range is quite limited, and i can only sing particular songs.

I apologize if it came across offensive.

And you can choose any song of your choice (as long as the song is not offensive, such as the song "London Underground").
