Ok, I know sometimes an RP doesn't get finished, in fact that can happen often, but there are some that just get finished and get buried under the continueing RPs, probably getting deleted eventually. Completed RPs are fun to read often, even if you weren't involved (lets face it, even though RPs are mostly for the roleplayers, others like to read them too) and a lot of times, these RPs that managed to be completed are pretty good exsamples of a good roleplay and might help show people how to keep their RPs alive. Plus, a lot of people like to remake their best roleplays and have fun with them all over again, which can be difficult if the original is deleted, or they may want to make a sequel, having the original archived would help with that. So what I'm suggesting is an extra board for finished RPs where they're moved when they're completed so they can be read freely. The topics would be locked, or maybe not, if you want people to comment on them for whatever reason. There could be one or one per section, your call. The most important thing would probably be the owner of the RP would PM a mod and tell them the RP is finished and can be moved to the archive. Anyway, that's my idea, in my mind, there are a number of good reasons to have a finished RP archive, so I'm suggesting it.

I agree, though what might be simpler is to make it so you can save threads to your computer, like how you can with PMs, that way you can keep them. I'm just tired of RPs I've finished getting deleted when me and my friends may still want them.

I have to say, this is a really good idea Godzillawolf. But the mods are busy.....but it should be done. This is a real good suggestion, as I have an RP that is almost completed.

I have created a specific forum for this :

role-playing-archive-f107.html

All "completed" RPG games (from all sections : Balto, Lion King...) can go there.

Yes, or they may also move the very-dead RPG topics there instead of removing them.

Thanks, this actuelly means a lot to me, I consider the RPs I do with others like anyone considers a book, its kinda more personal than most types of posts, so having a way to preserve them means a lot.

I have a question, would it help to set up a thread in the RP Archieve where people can post links to their completed RP? That way the Mods' PM box aren't stuffed with PMS.

Maybe the author can edit the topic title and add "COMPLETED"? (can you? I don't know if simple users have that permission)

I normally do that. Something like Finished do not delete! but till now, eventually they get deleted, which is why I asked for this to be added. Is there any mod in particular that we should PM to have our RPs moved?
