Hmm... my favorite live action kid's shows... Kratt's Creatures was always cool. And there was the block of shows that used to be on TLC years ago... Pappyland and Skinnamarink TV come to mind. I used to love the game shows that Disney Channel showed for a couple years, Mad Libs and Off the Wall. Those were aimed at a slightly older audience, but they were still pretty cool. And, of course all of the PBS shows; Sesame Street (which on November 10, 2009 will have been on air for forty years), Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, ZOOM, Wishbone, Ghostwriter, Bill Nye The Science Guy, and Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego? And Blue's Clues.

I realized just how that I used to watch a lot of TV.

To be truthful, amidst a lot of family drama and abuse, I don't remember a lot of my childhood. But I will post what I remember the most. Unfortunately, I don't remember a lot about the shows -- but I'm sure they're recognizable.

One must always keep in mind that I grew up doing many things outdoors -- the classic minimum-channel television -- so I didn't watch a lot of shows as I grew past 5, either, as I was allowed to venture the neighborhood and woods more.

I was born in 1991 -- the world of skinny stretchy pants and bright, floral colors. (I know because I've *shudder* found some of those pants I'd wear). This, I think was (I am SO sorry Seppaler!) my era for Barney, up until I was about 4 years old.

I also vividly remember the Power Rangers, to which I still hold an attachment to, though I don't want it any more. I used to watch Mister Rodger's Neighborhood, as well, when I was very young.

ZOOM, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Sesame Street

And due to frequent memory lapse, that's all I remember. How abortive. :'D

When I was young, I liked watching seasmi street. I was obsessed with it. My favorite part was Elmo's world.

Wasn't one of my favorites, but I watched telitubies (sp?) I liked the scenery. That sun always freaked me out though.

Then there was umm, Barney  I watched barney everyday. I was into barney for awhile. I was into dinosaurs at that time.

I also watched Mr.Rodgers. I was always mad when they didn't do "picture picture" or whatever it was called.

Then there was wishbone. To bad they took it off the air. I have one episode on DVD. Hot diggity dawg

I used to love The Big Comfy Couch, Sesame Street, and Barney. But the big comfy couch was always my favorite! The Big Comfy Couch is actually pretty funny, though it's been years since I really watched it.. (well yea, I did grow out of these shows)

I think there's others too, but I can't think of them at the moment.

I was about ten or so when I first saw The Wiggles, but I have to admit it was pretty entertaining. Internet and boredom led me to dig up the band Anthony and Jeff used to be in, The Cockroaches. It's good 80s pop, pretty clean cut. Downloaded their greatest hits album off iTunes, too.
