Just joined up when I read about the Virtual Season idea. What about a Radio Drama? It works for the time period of the show itself, Molly listened to the "Danger Woman" program. Talespin is an adventure show and this would be a cool idea I think.

Interesting idea... Can you elaborate a little more? I think I know what you mean, but a few more details would help.

Well radio dramas were popular in the 40's and I'd like to have a bunch of animated shows get the treatment just to keep them alive. Basically you'd just tell a story with dialogue, and throw in some sound effects. I don't know how the other programs do it to make it sound so good.
You could recreate certain fanfics for this or episodes, or your other original stories. Sound effects needed I suppose are:
Plane sounds for the Sea Duck Airfoil open/close effect Door open/close footsteps etc.
I guess sample some of the radio drama podcasts that are on iTunes if you want examples.

That's a nice idea. The cassette tapes I used to listent o in the car when I was a kid was sort of like radio plays. They were fun to listen to. I think this has a nice potential and would make a good alternative. We would also need very talented voice actors since the voice is the only thing that will be heard.

I think this would be practical and a good idea. We just need people that can mimic the voices of the characters enough to be believable.

Hi, I think that´s a wonderful idea .I´m a voice actor from Spain and would love to help, in fact, I made a "plunder and lightning" fandub two years ago with more voice actors and did the voices of Baloo and Karnage. If you wanna watch a sample, a user from youtube uploaded the song "we are pirates" from that fandub : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhk9bK67D1g Kind regards

Wow! That's cool! I must admit, I had my doubts, but after watching the video, I'm pretty impressed! You guys did a great job! Sure, if we can find enough voice actors, we'll do actual dialogue like a radio show. Actually I'd really like to add the dialogue to a video of fan drawn scenes from the story. The plan is to try to do comic pages/books, but if we could substitute actual voice dialogue for the speech captions and edit it into a video, that would be awesome! We could add sound effects and maybe even music... Thanks for the link and the offer/feedback, and welcome to the forum!

Yes, I agree. But the thing is, we'd probably be best doing the voice overs in ether English (being its one of the most commonly spoken languages) and this project is primarally on the english site, or we could do two voice overs, an English and a French.
What I'd suggest is post a video on Youtube requesting people to post tryout fandubbs for Talespin to 'audition'. Someone on there is doing that to get voice actors for a fandub of Kamen Rider Den-O and it seems like it's looking really good. Basically, they dub over a clip of the character with their voice. Give me a list of characters we'd need for the series as a whole and I can do the video.

In any case, If we do any voice work, it won't be very soon. What I'm concentrating on now is finalizing scripts and finding artists to help with illustrations.

Agreed, the Spanish voice actors were quite good. But I honestly think this is the way to go, maybe include some pictures but overall, a Radio show would be great. I have a friend at school who rescently proved herself good at voice acting. How much free time she has I don't know...

Hi again, thanks a lot for your welcome 0x7B, it´s great to know other people who loves Talespin as much as I do , I´m glad you liked the dub maybe It would be better to show you a sample doing the voices in english which I think I can speak fluently.I don´t have any dub in english of talespin at the moment but if you wanna hear me to test my pronuntiation doing the voices of Ray, Louis and Naveen in a "the princess and the frog" fandub, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXvPGNy_52I Kind regards

I talked to my friend about it, she said she'd take a look and see if she can do a voice over.

I personally like the idea of the radio drama. I think it would be the most accepted medium if it would be presented as professional fanproject because not everyone like's to read some kind of fanstories on the internet or even much text. Paired with the original bgm (if possible) and the a good SFX-Mixer it really could works.

All these ideas sound wonderful and perhaps Danger woman will meet a other bad guy like Covington. Danger woman reminds me a bit of Wonder Woman so she should have female foes more than male ones.
