Katherine Flynn was born the Nobleman's daughter in Kildare, Ireland. She has always wished for adventure. Until adventure finds her.

As her father's ship sails across the sea, pirates attack. Katherine hides with the supplies and is found by the young Captain James Stunner. He leads her to believe that the rest of the crew is dead, when it is only her father who has been slaughtered by James' own hands. Now, Katherine finds herself the only captive on a pirate ship. Luckily, or maybe not, she has caught the eyes of not only James, but his brother as well. They promise to take her home to Ireland unharmed. But who knew how much could change on this voyage to home? And what are the real dangers on this sea?

Katie thinks that she wants adeventure, but is completely unprepared for it. Still, she is not one to just take a hit. She can be a real spit fire if you push her the tiniest bit. She is rash in her decisions and never thinks things through. This often gets her in trouble that she never expects to be in until after she does something.

Christopher was Katie's best friend in Ireland and her family's secret intended for Katie. He was always in on the plan, but Katie doesn't find out until the day before she goes on the trip with her father. He went with her to try and prove himself worthy, but it never worked to his advantage. When Katie is taken, he assumed her dead.

Sunny is Violet's first mate and only 'friend.' She seems very sweet, but she takes pleasure in the most unsweet and gruesome things. She is often smirking away at the latest distaster or pain she has caused. She views Violet like on older sister of sorts.

Tuck is the youngest of the crew of the Midnight Lady. He was adopted as the youngest brother in the Stunner family, but it seems that he is the only Stunner not taken with Katie. Tuck is always trying to prove himself, but he is the clumsiest pirate. If it weren't for his good relations with the captain, he would have been abadoned long ago.

Hey, I'm ready to start when you guys are. Is everyone ready?

Okay, guys. Please don't let this die. Just give me some sort of response so I know you're still alive!

Well, I'm starting this cuz I've waited a long time to do this rp. (Hype, I hope you're still in it!)

Katie hurried down the wooden steps to the cargo hold. She heared her father above giving commands to the crew to prepare the the on-coming pirate ship. She glanced up the stairs just in time to see Chris shut the door and completely engulf Katie in darkness. She felt around in the darkness for some sort of hiding place. She grabbed at the dagger in her belt, the only weapon that her father had allowed her to carry with her. She was tempted to go back up and insist on helping to fight, but she knew that she would only be a nuisence (sp?) up there on deck in the mist of battle.

Chris hurried from the door that he had just closed to stand behind Katie's father. He was amazed that she had agreed to go into the cargo hold after the disasterous conversation between the two of them the day before. She had nearly slapped when she Chris and her father had finally made known the plans for marriage they had. Hopefully, when they got back to Ireland, Katie would be more reasonable. But right now, Chris had to worry about the black pirate flag coming towards them.

He sat hunched over, leaning against the thick mast. He glared down at the pirates succrying below him and glanced around to find his brother. Deveron Quillian Black took his small knife out of its tiny sheath and began making small cut marks in the dark wood. He glanced up again, bored out of his mind, and noticed the on coming ship. Dev narrowed his eyes and automatically placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, a saftey percaution almost. He was instantly on his feet and started quickly down the rope ladder, expertly climbing down the steep unsteady rope. He landed on the deck and took off running toward his brother, skidding to a halt right beside him. James was nearly a head taller then Dev an opposite in almost every way, but that didn't stop Dev from looking up to him. In more ways then one.

Katie could almost hear the dead silence from up on deck as the crew prepared for battle. Her eyes were barely adjusting to the dark of below deck. She hurried as fast as she could to as far away from the stairs as she could. She felt her toe jam against a crate of something and she fell into the black. There was a small crash as Katie hit the ground. The corner of the crate scratched against her shoulder, but she was much more worred about what the crew was about to face than a simple splinter.

Chris stood in front of the rest of the men as appointed leader of the crew. Katie's father stood beside him. They both were squinting up at the pirate flag soaring overhead. "Stand togeth and stand firm!" Chris shouted at the crew as the pirate ship drew ever nearer.

Tuck clumsily slid his sword out of it's hilt. He dropped it to the ground with a loud clank. He hurridly picked it up again and ran to the other side of James. He looked nervously at the ship that they were coming up to. Tuck was probably the only pirate alive that hated raids. He always had to be saved by Dev or James or one of the other crew. It was just embarrassing.
