You should put more into your first post about information about SpongeBob... but anyway,
It's Ok. I thought it was too stupid, I only watched it when nothing was on. I never liked it.
Though I like the SpongeBob plushies.

Spongebob is a stupid show. i don't even know why it is so popular!

IT just dosent make sense. i have watched it a little bit before, but then now i hate it.

and i dont get why it is animated when they are underwater, but whgen the characters go above water usually they do these little stupid stick puppets... i dont get it, couldent they keep the animation above the water too? hmm.

I have watched it only a little. and started to not like it.

THis is my opinion, so i can feel free to express it. Everyone has there own opinion.

Spongebob is a cartoon that has had mass market appeal like no other. Yet I can't decide if I should like it or not, I will watch the show from time to time and I don't often regret it, but there are a few things to point out. It's the last hugely successful traditionally animated cartoon on television, the characters are well developed and the animation is truly well done. Yet the content is relatively dim I do find it has it's bright moments. I champion the Spongebob crew for keeping real cartoons alive yet I can't help but feel they'll fall sooner or later to the terrible levels of most modern cartoons. It's a show most people seem to love and many seem to despise, there is very little middle ground. I can only hope it can sustain itself through this cartoon "drought" that has persisted through the 2000's and will be the bridge to a new era but it's very wishful thinking.

I think Spongebob is one of the worst cartoon ever! D< and they made him a movie too? jeeez...in the movie I jumped all around when he died but when I saw that he came back to life I was very disappointed...they episodes are pathetic, like the characters, I really don't know how some people can watch hm...oh please!

Aaaaw how can you guys say that...... Spongebob's ace! Alright, he can be a little annoying, but doesn't he win you over with his goofy, childlike happiness?!? He's such a positive, bouncy, bubbly character - it's infectious, and I should know, seeing as when it first came out, like, over 5 years ago ( ...has it really been that long?) Back when I was still in primary school, I thought the show was rubbish, and found Spongebob's laugh sooo irritating. But...he won me over...... I mean he's just so CAREFREE and HAPPY! And although the jokes aren't paticularly clever, they are simple, but still can be really, realy funny! Especaily Patrick - he's awesome. I can see how people love its simple charm and the ability to appeal to little kids, older kids, and even some adults. I mean, doesn't it just remind you of all the stupid fun things you used to do when you were a kid?

Yeah..... I may be a teen, but hell I love Spongebob <3 Best cartoon out nowadays, what with all that other cruddy cartoons - which are so bad I wouldn't use them to wipe my *** DX - that I have to sit through every Saturday morning D< Seriously, don't get me started....

So yeah. I still think Spongebob rocks XD I might even go as far as to say that you must be a bit of a misery-guts if it doesn't make you smile just a teensy bit :3

nope, sorry, I was forced by a friend to watch some episodes and then the movie but I find him veeeery annoying, really, if his show would be the only one on TV, I would never watch the TV then, sorry for you fans but no, I don't find him funny, cute or other...maybe because I now like stuff like GNG and GDW, stuff hard to watch because it's cruel but, no, sorry, I wll never like it.

I still don't fancy talking Yellow sponges with the IQ of the football players at my school. None the less one that sings, "I'm ready" Over and over until you want him to be ready to die.

SpongeBob?

I HATE the new SpongeBob, he's more annoiyng than when the show first started. The older episodes were OK, but he stills annoys me like a mosquito. I wouldn't be his friend, but I also wouldn't be his enemy.

I used to love SpongeBob..... then I grew a brain. And I started somewhat hating his annoying disposition.

I'll watch the old SpongeBob, but never any new episodes.

Those of you who've seen me around the forum can probably guess that I'd dislike Spongebob Squarepants as a show. I'm going to step out on a limb here and actually say the opposite. Spongebob is one of the better animated shows out there for multiple reasons that I'll get into below.

Though the characters of Spongebob are generally static (that can be said for countless shows), there are several intricate personalities presented through the characters of this show. Even more can be said about the contradicting personalities of several characters. I'll list some...

Spongebob: annoying, profoundly talented, and usually in a good mood. Yes, not a big deal. However, Spongebob has a very low-end job, service hamburgers at a restaurant that probably isn't even up to par with Mc Donalds; a run down, backwater fast food restaurant called the Krusty Krab. Yet he is accepting of this and is enthusiastic about his job. It is a commonplace of today's society for people to complain about such a job, and they sure as heck do. Spongebob, minus the annoying attitude, represents a very positive outlook on life. He appreciates having a job, and does not need material possessions to be happy.

Squidward: Admittedly the show would not be half of what it is without Squidward, the polar opposite of Spongebob, who harbors a personality more comparable to today. (Not necessarily a bad thing.) Squidward's negativity is rampant, in stark contrast to Spongebob. He complains about his job, feels he needs status to be successful, and is not very lively like Spongebob is. Both characters live a meager existence, but deal with it in different ways. Squidward adds tremendous depth to the show.

Eugene Krabs: Another one of more important characters, Eugene is a salty old Navy man who, at the surface, is a greedy old man. I always felt that Krabs always added a good amount of spice to the show, with all of his navy stories and his wacky antics. Treats his employees as expendable, but when in dire straights actually recognizes that they are worth more than the money they are paid. (Life lesson...?)

I know a lot of you might be thinking of all the childish antics of Spongebob and other characters I didn't mention, and my response to that is the following. I do agree that this show goes overboard sometimes, but alas it is aimed, at least in part, to a younger crowd. But this show offers things for more critical audiences. There is a reason why this show is getting top marks - and it's not because of the kiddies watching it - I'd wager that at least some of what I mentioned above is in part responsible for that.
