Ok. So, I read this really awesome book by Scott Westerfield, and I decided to base an rp off of it. I hope you enjoy!

Rules:

All the BS rules, of course.
No spamming or bumps.
Do NOT let this topic go dead!
Completly fill out the bio! Dont just fill out some.
No swearing.
No godmodding.
No powerplaying.
Dont make others peoles chars do something or kill, maim, etc. to them without permission.
You can only have up to 2 chars.
HAs to be between the ages 15-17

Ok, the last one wasnt a real rule, but I hope you do anyway. Now time for the awesome plot.

Plot:

Weird things happen in Bixby, Oklahoma. For one, there is a secret hour, filled with monsters that opens at the stroke of midnight. Darklings(the monsters), created this hour after being hunted by the species that they used to eat for breakfast. Literally. Only certain people who were born at the stroke of midnight can enter this secret hour. The rest of the world is frozen around them, and the world turns blue, the rest of the color leached out. But lately, the blue time has been expanding, and its up to the select few who can enter the secret hour to save the world from being swallowed by midnight. Can the do it? Or will they be destroyed first? THe people call themselves, Midnighters.

Ok, these people also have special talents. Some can only be used in the blue hour.

Talents:

Polymath: They are math geniuses. Ok, that may sound lame, but they are the ones who fiscovered midnights patterns, etc. They are geinuises in both the blue time and the rest of the world. Duh.

Mindcasters: They can taste others thoughts. But sometimes it can also be to much for them,. Some go insane from it. they can also change peoples memory's and get them to do things. They cant let anyone touch them, except frozen people, stiffs. It opens the connections more, makes it overwhelming. THey can only touch midnighters if they want to. They can mindcast in both the blue time, and in the real world. There can only be two of these too. And Im going to be one.

Acrobat: They can fly. Well, in a way. They still have a bit of gravity, but only a little. So, they can jump supper far, fall any distance, but only in the blue time.

Flame-Bringer: They can bring technology into the blue time. LIke, they can make cars go, which normally wouldnt happen. We can only have one of these so, first come, first serve.

Seer: They can use the lore for communication and can see the Focus. They are better at understanding midnight and always want to know more about its history, etc. They can see the Focus in the blue time, and in the real world.

I guess you could also be a human too.

Now that Ive explained the powers, let me explain the darklings and theyre weaknesses.

Species:

Darkilngs: These are the acient monsters. They are stronger but more easily frightened. They are wary of coming out of hiding.

Slithers: They are pretty much furry snakes. But instead of biting, the shoot out black filaments. They still hurt though, and they make your arm freeze up. Some have wings too.

Weaknesses: Ideas. They are like old people. They dont like new ideas or inventions. they are afraid of new alloys and steel. And math. Also 13-letter words.
