I just learned of this band not too long ago. Apparently, they're becoming pretty popular! They're an electronica type band, although they have more lyrics than a typical electronica track, but unlike a lot of the popular music these days (excluding the Pop genre) it's really uplifting! I mean, listen to their songs with an open mind, and you'll know what I mean.

I must say, it's not the best electronica group I've heard, but it's a good band to start with in order to get into the electronica genre. It's... "electronica lite" to put it simply.

Definetely not my music genere, but Hot Air Balloon is such a cute song.

I showed that song to one of my friends, and she thought it sounded like a Pokemon theme song. A week after that, Owl City was her favorite band. xD

OC are AMAZING. I heard Hot Air Balloon a while ago, and then Meteor Shower shortly afterward. After that, I was hooked, and I now have pretty much every single one of their songs on my iPod Touch.

Their music and lyrics are beautiful, and unlike anything I've ever heard. I've heard someone say that OC's music is what the world would sound like if it was in perfect harmony, and I've come to realize how true that is. x3

Some of my favourite songs of their's are Hot Air Balloon, The Saltwater Room, Vanilla Twilight & Meteor Shower. <3 I'm working on getting more people into Owl City hehe. it makes me so happy to see there are plenty of fans out there already. :3

A few weeks ago before me & my boyfriend got together, I got him into Owl City. And now If My Heart Was A House is our song. ?

Omg, I absolutely <33333 Owl City. So catchy and such interesting lyrics. "Fireflies" is what got me into them a couple months ago, and it's still my favorite as of now. My goal is to catch them live next year.

Haha! We seem to cross music tastes relatively frequently! First Angels & Airwaves, now Owl City!

I agree, their stuff is like... the musical embodiment of someone at complete peace with the world. If the world was entirely at peace, and there was a concert to celebrate the fact, these guys would be the main act!

Great stuff, these guys. I think it's time the popular music turned more uplifting, in my honest opinion. ^^

Owl City's alright(to me). I enjoy them as much as Angels And Airwaves. Lyrics are catchy, but I'm not extremely into Owl City. I have to say I DO love Hot Air Balloon. It has to be one of the most catchy songs that sounds like a "jingle" to me.

But Owl City's not all that bad. I just like a different genre of music a little better.

I first heard Owl City when some AMV's showed up in my youtube subscription box with the song "Fireflies" and I got to say they have some good songs. I am not as big of a fan as some, but I like listening to them

I'm not a fan of Owl City, however I am addicted to their song Meteor Shower. I really wish the song wasn't so short..

Fireflies is a pretty good song, too. But Meteor Shower will remain my favorite for now. ^^

Interesting songs, they fall in line with the American electronica scene quite well, and remind me of 3oh!3 a bit, but I'm more into the European Eurodance/electronica style.

I like them. xD I'm really into happy songs right now and OC fits the bill perfectly. I love "Fireflies" the most, makes me want to draw a picture based on it every time I hear it.

I actually like Owl City. And I don't usually like music like this, either. I'm listening to Fireflies right now, and I'm liking it so far.
