I don't think it really matters how old you are, if you enjoy the animations movies/series. I don't understand what difference it honestly makes.
Now, if this older person happens to be offending anyone younger or constantly breaking rules(whether in rleplays, the main site, or the forums), that IS a problem.
But if you're 50 or 15, as long as you stay within safe lines, I see no problem in age.
Plus, people who I'm reffering to(in general) tend to be the new members or the people who start flaming.

I understand, it's in nature for us to be curious, but saying something nicely and calmly and emphasizing that(ESPECIALLY on chat sites or forums) is important, because it's very hard to know if someone said so-and-so nicely or not.
But I think the older members(such as, for example Alpha Aleu), just happen to touch their "kid-at-heart" and keep loving it. (I'm NOT trying to offend AA or anyone like him, I just remembered he was an older member.)
But thank you for at least posting this calmly, it really helps in the long run.

Animation has no age limit so neither should fansites for them. Togo and GK said it all really.
Also, the isn't designed just for little kids, it's designed for anyone who's a fan of Balto/Lion King/ Talespin and any other sources added in the future.

Age isn't really a concern. And these sites are family sites, as the movies are for families. I, personally, am nearing 18 years of age (will be in December -- as well as Silver Deni). My husband, Vengeance, is 23 and visits the site. Both of us, even though we do get annoyed here and there, enjoy the social aspects of the site and the comfortable, family-friendly setting. But I digress, I grew up with Balto, The Lion King, and Talespin. They're actually some animations that I wouldn't mind showing my son when he's old enough to start watching television as some form of [positive] activity. (As opposed to Cartoon Network's recent Total Drama Island/Action, which I STILL think is a little too risque to be showing to such a young audience, especially on the airing schedule it's shown.) Of course, as I'm not a fan of the other two movies, I don't think he'll be seeing those any time soon. Lol Like GreyKitty said -- the movies are made by adults. So why is there an excuse that they're just for children? I know plenty of adults who like any sort of animated show/movie, especially ones they grew up with. And yes, a lot of older members do get frustrated with younger members, and visa-versa. New, younger members tend to be more abrasive -- as well as know-it-alls of any age (which is a trait more earned by the older members, which is the typical "you're not my parent" argument ).

I don't make site for kids. If I did, the sites would be different. (like bright colors and blinking animations...) No : I'm making sites for everyone to use. Of course most visitors are kids, but that's only natural when it comes to animated films or even fansites in general. Actually on the Talespin site, most of the visitors are adults - which was also the case for the Balto site at first. And I would say the average age on BS is 15, which is more teenager than kid age. Quote: I'm surprised they don't get annoyed with all the younger people here.( I don't get annoyed by younger people, I get annoyed by LAZY younger people. Visitors who can't take the time to write things correctly, make efforts in whatever they do / send on the site. Age isn't an excuse for that. That's also why the rules are strict, to prevent the site from getting "spammed" with bad content and turning away older visitors. Otherwise, I don't mind.

General rule of BS thumb: The older ones tend to be more interested in animation as a whole, as opposed to the younger ones that are more interested in wolves or just the movie/s itself/themselves.
