You mean the one in the middle? I don't know......... there's no evidence proving it............... but there isn't any disproving it either.

It looks nothing like Nava. This topic really has no point to it.

For the sake of argument, the only reason that really points to that /possibly/ being Nava, is cuz fur gets lighter as is ages (among other things).
Its pretty far away to see any exact markings that belong to Nava, but considering that like EVERY wolf had pretty much the exact same markings, it doesn't say it /couldn't/ be Nava.
However.
I seriously doubt it /was/ Nava. Because
1) That darker brown wolf seemed to have way more dominance than him, and Nava in the second movie seemed like he had been leader for a very long time. And not that much time passed between the two movies.
2) I'm positive it was just a small pack. Nava's pack was /much/ larger, and was located very far away. (Well, they were at least following caribou herds, and there were no caribou around in Balto 1.) And they could not have been scouting because what responsible adults would that make them for taking such a young wolf pup along with them?
3) Nava would have said something if it /was/ him. He seems like he'd have a pretty good memory.

To also add. Balto one came out before balto two did, so there is NO way that it could be Nava.

It's possibly, but I doubt it. But that is an interesting thought!

Nava is older than Balto, so during the 1st movie he was surely alive. If you are talking about the different staff, it's just like the White Wolf / Aniu thing. But I think that wolf is not Nava, as his pack lives very far away from Nome. Err, the simple fact that the sequels were conceived by different staffs make it logical it can't be Nava.

Of course, the authors of the original film didn't want him to be Nava; but to make the topic more intresting, I switched to the similar question: did the Balto 2 writers meant Nava to be that wolf? I based my answer on the setting created by the movies, as I find answers such as "they were different teams" quite boring. Yes, the boundary between reality and getting involved in an universe you like so much that it becomes one whole, logical entity. I can understand that
