The clans
Rainclan=Thunderclan:
Clan character: In peace, Respectful to other clans. In battle, Fierce, Courageous and loyal. Rainclan cats speak out for what is right and are not afraid to challenge the warrior code.
prey: Mice, voles, squirrel, the occasional rabbit, and birds such as Starling, Magpie, wood pigeon, and thrushes.
hunting skills: Excellent stalking techniques. They keep upwind of there prey, creeping across the forest floor unseen and unheard.
Duskclan=Shadowclan
Clan character: Battle-hungry, aggressive, ambitious, and greedy for territory. It is said that the cold wind that blows across the Duskclan territory chills there hearts and makes them suspicious and untrustworthy.
Prey: Frogs, lizards, and snakes that live in Duskclan's boggy, peat territory. A secret food sauce is the Twoleg garbage dump on the far boundary, although they have to be careful not to eat infected rats or crow-food.
Hunting skills: Duskclan cats hunt by night better then other clan cats and are skilled and stalking unseen through the undergrowth.
Moonclan=riverclan
Clan character: Content, sleek, well fed, long fur and glossy coats. They love beautiful things and often collect rocks, shells, and feathers for there dens. They do not fear water.
Prey: Mainly fish but also water voles, shrews and mice.
Hunting skills: Strong swimmers, they move silently and scentless through the water. they scoop up fish out of the water from the bank- a skill most cats in other clans cannot master.
Earthclan=Windclan
Clan character: Fiercely loyal, tough, fast running, and easily offended cats. They are nervous and quick to flee, due to there lack of cover on the open moor. They take pride in being the closest clan to the Moonstone. Of all the clans, they have the deepest knowledge of the twolegs from seeing them on the nearby farms.
Prey: Manly rabbits.
Hunting skills: Fast, lean and swift. There short, smooth pelts pelts of browns and grays blend in with the rocks and grasses.
Starclan
Info: Starclan is the home of the spirits of all the cats' warrior ancestors. as each cat dies, they are visited by a member of Starclan, usually a cat they known before, and taken to join the Starbound warriors. Starclan is represented by Silverpelt, the sparkling swath of stars that stretch across the sky. Starclan is made up of cats from all clans; however, individual cat-spirits retain there old loyalties and watch over cats from there clans they use to belong to. Starclan cats communicate with there earthly clans in there dreams, or when they visit the Moonstone deep underground at Highstones. Clan cats look at Starclan for help and guidance, but ultimately Starclan dose not control what happens to the clans.

The warrior code
* Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
* One should never hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

Punishment: Most cats are attacked if found.

* Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

Punishment: The offender is usually given no food for the rest of the day.

* Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
* A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
* Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
* A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
* The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
* After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
* A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among the Clans at this time.
* Boundaries must be checked and marked. Challenge all trespassing cats.
* No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
* The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
* An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
* A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

A few of the things regarding the warrior code, as implied by the Clan cats, are:

* The Clan is to be fed before any individual cat.

Punishment: Usually, the offending warrior gets no prey for a day.

* The safety of the Clan is more important than that of any individual cat.
* Each Clan has specific borders.

Punishment: Usually, a conflict or battle will take place regarding the boundary.

* Prey is not to be stolen from another Clan's territory.
* Clan borders are not to be crossed (unless of special occasions going to Highstones/Moonpool, or, at the lake, crossing one another's territory to get to Gatherings)

Punishment: The crosser can be attacked by a border patrol.

* A Gathering lasts as long as the moon is highest in the sky.
* There is a truce during the Gathering.
* Under no circumstances may the truce be broken.

Punishment: Clouds will cover the moon, showing StarClan's anger.

* Medicine cats may not fall in love nor have kits.

Punishment: The cat, if female, will be forced to give up her kits.

* Cats may not fall in love with nor have kits with cats from other Clans.
* Kits must be at least six moons old to be an apprentice.
* Kits may not leave the camp without permission.

Punishment: Depends on the kit's mother or father; the offending kit usually must stay in the nursery. However, depending on the severity, kits' apprenticeship may be delayed.

* Kits may not learn to hunt until they are apprenticed.

Punishment: Usually, the kit will have to stay in the nursery.

* Apprentices must accompany the leader to Highstones/the Moonstone as a part of their training.
* Newly made warriors must sit vigil for their first night and guard the camp in silence.
* Warriors may not kill in cold blood.

Punishment: The cat may be exiled.

* Warriors must show compassion.
* A deputy must be chosen before moonhigh of the previous deputy's resignation or death.
* To be a deputy a cat must have had an apprentice.
* Warriors may not attack a medicine cat.
* Cats have free passage to the Highstone/Moonstone
* There may be no more nor less than four Clans in the forest.
* Strangers should be driven from a Clan's territory.
* Cats should show mercy to cats who ask for help.
* Warriors do not fight to kill; they fight to prove their strength and defend their territory.

History: Dawnpelt grew up in Rainclan, always hoping to be the best of warriors but she was to innocent to hurt other cats. She grew up trying hard to impress her mentor but always bring shame, she was considered more of a medicine cat then a warrior but she still held hope that she could change that and prehaps change the clan thoughts on her. But soon the last medicine cat (Insert last medicien cats name here) Died in a fight and Dawnpelt was the only one who was closest to being a medicine cat then any other. now she takes her spot as the main medicine cat for rainclan

Personality: feircer than the normal rainclan cat. Fangstars quick temper often got him into trouble as a warrior and getss him into fights as a leader.
History: Fangstar wasnt born to be leader. His brother was originally going to have that honour but When The rest of the litter was lost to greencough he became the only heir left. He went through being an apprentice with many arguments and became a trouble some warrior. He got into sraps alot by overstepping the boudary lines and once even almost started a fight at a gathering. When his father died he became leader.

Personality: Thornclaw is agressive. She makes a complete idiot of herself just to make others laugh. She loves to prey, and attempted to be a bit of a flirt, only making a complete foul of herself. She had had dreams to mate, but none has previeled and remains mateless. She's also rebellious.
History: Thornclaw started out as Thornkit, the daughter of two cats named Windstrike and Robinpelt, whom are both deceased now of an unknown reason. She worked her way up to an apprentence, and was given the name Thornpaw. Eventully, she has broken a clan rule but as Windstrike's daughter (he was a very beloved cat int he clan) her life was spared and continued on in the clan, and soon became a warrior of the name Thornclaw.

Lionnight trotted into camp. a skinny rabbit hung form his mouth. he looked around then made his way to the freshkill pile. when he had put his prey down he looked around and felt his ears fall against his head, Rainclan will be in trouble if we don't have any apprentices, he thought his white tipped tail flicking. he then turned back towards the camp entrence. the large tom padded towards the entrence. His ginger/cream coat rippled with the rythmatic movements of his muscles. he swung his head around as the wind caught a strange scent. his ears perked as he noticed who it was, Silverstone. his tail twitched as he watched the young beautiful silver she-cat make her way form the trees. she really was a great sight. her coat was long and a shinning glossy silver. she has long legs and her tail, ears, muzzle and paws where white. Lionnight purred a greating to his former apprentice and was proud of her. she was a great hunter and her Moonclan blood allowed her to swim like a otter. "Silverstone," he greated her, his eyes shinning like emeralds.
"Lionnight," she mewed back shufflign her paws happily. "I scented Duskclan in our territory," she reported looking serious again. Lionnight snarled and his eyes changed into a fiery green.
"Did you see them?" he growled almost yowling as his tail lashed behind him in a fury. the large tom really was a formidable warrior and with Duskclan leader's blood in him he had grown a strong hatred for his blood thirsty father and his clan of Rogues and Warrior code breaking pieces of foxdung. ever since lionnight was a kit his father had tryed to kill him. Lionnight snarled at the thought of his Blood red eyed father.
"N-no Lionnight, if i did i would have atacked them until there fur was all in my claws!" she hissed. lionnight nodded.
Thanks Silverstone, i'll tell Fangstar. Can you take the dawn patrol in the morning," he said and looked to the sky, Silverpelt was already beginging to appear. Guide Rainclan, Starclan he thought to his warrior ancestors.

Fangstar paced with his eyes closed. His paws thudded lightly on the ground but his mind was troubled. We Need apprentices, Duskclan have been scented repeatedly and... He trailed off unable to put the rest of his worries into words By starclan I can swear that I have no idea why I'm leader he thought. He hissed angroily and swiped the floor then cursed underhsi breath when his claw bent back on a rock. His tail flicked as he thought of the trouble the clan had had in the previous moons. His muscles tensed slightly and hisfur bristled angrily at single thought of the Duskclan loeader. He calmed his firey temper with a single grunt then continued his pacing.

Lionnight turned and paced back towards the camp entrence. he made his weight through and snarled as a few twigs got stuck on his ginger/cream coat. he turned around to pick them off then trotted towards where he scented Fangstar. when he saw his Leader he slowed his pace and bowed his ehad low showing respect. "Duskclan where scented once again," he reported raising his head. his tail flicked quickly behind him as his emerald green eyes searched his Leaders for a reaction. Oh please don't take this to far, Fangstar, he thought knowing his leader did have a temper.

Fangstars Eyes Blazed suddenly "WHAT?!" he yelled angrily. His fur stood an end rage flowingf through "Those-Those-Those-" he stammered unable to find the right words through his fury "Those...Cats Were scented on Our land AGAIN?!" he hissed, his voice getting rougher with every word. He paced angrily again blocking out every distraction to his thinking "I've warned Deathstar time and time again but does he listen? No" he snarled mainly to himself "if I get a hold of that idiot I will..." he muttered continued to quietly for anyone else to hear.

Lionnight let his head fall. Get a grip Fangstar he thought. As his leader mentiond his father Lionnight shut his eyes tight as if in pain. not many knew about what is father did and how dangerous he really was. "Deathstar isn't an idiot, I bet this is all a plan." he said just loud enough for Fangstar to hear.

Thornclaw streaked across her clans territory, not trying to get a little bit of everything in her clanmates discussions and such. She slowed down as she padded by Fangstar and Lionnight. She starred at the two males for a minute, thoughts running threw her mind, like a rabbit hopping into his burrow. Her deep yellow eyes now gazed over to Lionnight, and she with that bounced off to her out pleasure, now doing what she pleased most- evasdropping.

Windkit happily bounced across the clan, and soon bounced up to her mentor, Lionight, and just sat there.

Lionnight turned to his apprentice and licked Windpaw on the head. "windpaw? have you gotten fresh kill for the elders?" he asked his apprentice. his ears twitched a welcome as Thornclaw passed then left. I love that curiousity in her, it makes her seem so free and wild, he thought knowing he was fond of the she-cat.

Windpaw chuckled nervously. "Well, not yet. Would you like me to go catch some?" The small apprentence said. "Well, I did catch one plump mouse earlier, and it managed to feed two of the elders, but I still probably need to catch more." The small calico announced.
