Animation Source Forums

I know this is a short post, but this really is not a post you can make long.

I was thinking about changing "Balto Source, Lion King Source and Talespin Source forums" to "The forum of Animation Source", with a link to the AS website. Wadd'ya think?

Done...And I already intended to do it, that's one of the point of the Animation Source site.

Do you think you might make the forum background the background you have on the main Animation Source website?

For the Index Page, the View Active Topics page, the View Unanswered Posts page, the View New Posts page, and the View Your posts page as well as the links in the top userbar such as the User Control Panel could have that background. Then, for the other sections, they can have their specific background for whichever movie section it is. For example, the Balto section would have the Balto background that's visible now.

I'm not sure if this is possible due to me not able to do this with my forum, but if it's possible with some coding, that would make the forum look cool. Plus someone could have joined Balto Source in the past but then when Spirit Source comes out they may only want things to do with Spirit Source. That probably won't happen all the time since they joined Balto Source then. I myself definately would not want to delete my account or anything just so I could get the complete Spirit Source server stuff.

I plan on doing this - but later. The best would be to integrate my "style making" interface with the forums too, I think it's possible but a bit complex.
As for your account, they are shared among all the sites so no problem there.

Yes of course. It's mostly the way it's stored in database that could be a problem (well it should be less complex than the permissions...)
Also, all the layouts would be based on the same model/template (like I did for the sites)
Apart from that, it should be the same as for the site : I offer the possibility to send the interface images directly by the interface, and I generate the CSS "automatically" based on values entered by the site creators.

Steet: On another note, you also should change the header for fisubice2. It says "Balto & Lion King Source forums". I think that needs changing to "Animation Source Fansites - The Forum" or something.
