In twenty years from now, most of the animals on this earth will be extinct from habit lost and over-hunting. Pets of any kind are a very expensive luxary that most people of this future cannot afford. The econmy is crambling and more than half of all Americans are jobless. The numbers of the homeless have doubled. But even in this chaos of the world, science advancements are still occuring. The latest, a serium that will cause a person's Shadow to appear. A Shadow is basicaly that person in animal form. These Shadows act much like their master and their true animal self combined, with increased intelligence and power. A Shadow does not wonder far from their master;s side. Scientists think that bringing back some of the extinct animals will raise the hopes in everyone and be the start of a better future.

Ten years later, the wanted affect was acheived and the world reflects the one we are in today. With no one ever having to be truly alone, major explorations were taken. The farms were restored and caught the wild cattle and pigs and horses and such. One minor difference is the amount of feral pet animals, but even those have decreased over the years. The only major change is that everyone now has a Shadow. But the true effects of the Shadow are just being found out.

A woman dies in a car accident, something that hasn't happened in years. But what no one expected was that her Shadow would still be there after she was gone. But her Shadow, a tigress, has lost all human traits including her speach and moral. But she is exceedingly smart and powerful. Not to mention completely wild. The people don't know how to kill this menance who seems immortal. All supplies of the serium have been cut off and the shot is not allowed to be given anymore. But what to do with the Shadows that already exist?

That's where a group of teenagers come in. One is very intelligent, and has worked out how to get rid of the Shadows. The solution was simply inject the Shadow with the same serium to return the spirit back to where ever it came from. This worked on the guy's Mouse Shadow, but after a day or two he injected himself with the serium to return the Mouse, missing him deeply, which alost used up his all of the serium he had. He confides in his friends what he has done and they all tell him not to go to the authorites or scientists about this. None of them are willing to give up their Shadows, which is what the government would have done if this cure was ever found out. Realizing that the scientists have stopped all work on the serium, they are the only ones who know of the cure. They are determined to take care of any Wild Shadows themselves without the government finiding out. But that proves to be harder than they thought, especailly after almost being caught stealling the remaing stores of the serium. Can these teens keep this secret? Will they even be able to destroy all of these wild Shadows without being killed themselves? Who else will discover this cure and ruin the teens' plans? Is there a better solution?

If a Shadow does not have a human, they are a Wild Shadow. Refer to the plot to read the difference.
More than one line, please! I really like this idea and think it would make a really good rp if you spend time on your posts.
Be creative with your Shadow. I don't want all wolves. Try not to repeat unless you REALLY want that animal as your chars Shadow.
Make your characters have some depth to them. No 'will reveal in rp.' Put some thought into what you're character will be like.

History: A boy from a tribe deep within the forests. His tribe is unique in that they poccessed at one time long ago a natural form of the sirum but have since lost the knowledge (if ok). He and his tribe believe that the Shadows always existed as guardian spirits, just the sirum gave them a physical form. He conciders them sacred. He and his tribe seek a way to transform the wild shadows into normal animals to restock the world's wild life. His native name is Gold Eagle and he prefers that name.
Personality: Kindhearted, survivalist, knowledgeable, loves animals of all kinds, he knows many native legends, his personal belief is that the wild shadows lost a part of their soul when their human died and they're now stuck between life and death and wants to find a way to send them were they belong, whether its back to the spirit world or to the natural one.
