Hello.
Currently I am writing a story, my version of how Balto's father and mother meet. Originally I was going to have some parts in Aniu's PoV (point of view) and most of it in Balto's father's PoV. Then I realized that a major part of Aniu's personality is her mystery, in fact it's the only trait I remember seeing in the movies.

If I write in her PoV it will add depth to her character but also take away a lot of the enigmatic personality away.
If I take her PoV out and explain her story through her speaking instead of feeling, then her personality is the same and she would be an interesting though not very emotional character.

So any readers/ writers seeing this, what do you think? Should I take out the parts with her PoV and simply tell a little about her throughout the story, or should I tell everything to the reader in a few chapters?

Also any advice is welcome. Tell me what you like to see in a story.

Here's a small sample in her PoV

The wolf gasped, she had not intended this. No matter how real it felt, she had to remind herself it was her imagination. Surely one could not enter another's dreams... The mere thought is ridiculous!
Still...
She had better ask her grandfather, he was very spiritual and might had a valid thought.
"Just to humor him", she told herself although unconvincingly. She stalked off through the snow. It was not hard to find him, the wolf's scent was simply a part of her life, he had watched her hundreds of times when she was young. There he sat. On a snowy hill looking down on the trees intently, as if something was on the verge of uncovering itself.

And here's a small sample in JC's ( baltos dad) PoV

JC felt the cold nudge of a nose.  He blinked rapidly then looked up. He gasped, the angel from his nightmares looked at him. Her fiery red eyes mixed with gold stared down to him.
His tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth. She was serene.
" No..." he breathed. She bent down to him. He could feel her breath on his cheek.
"Are you alright?" she asked. Her voice was sonorous, lovely to his ears.
" This..." said JC, " its a dream."
" No," she pulled her head up and stood gracefully. " Hopefully, know that I've found you, you will never have to have those Dreams again."

I'm still working on the plot and editing a lot so I couldn't find great examples, but it shows you what my writing style is like :)

Lovely, PoVs are amazing things. I learned that in my young years of 8 and 9. :] For sitautions like this, you could add in a side character's PoV as they watch nearby... Like a bird or a mouse. Those little creatures who are everywhere! Lemmings are the mouse you want for this, I'm not 100% on the bird though. Hmm.

Or 3rd person! You could have an all seeing person plan out a part of the story. I think it's interesting when little creatures are added or the PoVs are changed rapidly from 1st, to 3rd, maybe 2nd? Still, keep in mind the 3 different styles of explaining your story and with that much and the knowledge of Alaska's animals and where they live, and how they live... That should be enough to get you through. Research and search engines are a writer's best friend. :]

Hope I helped... ^^ I havn't written a story in a long time truthfully. Well, one I posted on a website. Please... Let me and AS know when it is finished! :D Can't wait to read it. Good luck! ^^

That was actually really helpful. I was having a brief writer's block

Appreciate the advice, thanks!
