"Ask ____" Topics : Disallowed

Hello forum-goers.

I wanted to make certain that everyone was informed of a new stance that the moderators have taken on the "Ask (character name)" topics.

We have decided, based on their frequency of appearance, that the forums would be better served without any further creation of such topics. While any "Ask ___" topics created before this rule (on or before September 2) will be allowed to stay, those that are created from this point onward will be locked.

All similar topic created before the ruling will be allowed to remain, since we cannot justify removing something that was created before a rule disallowed it.

Again, "Ask ___" topics created on or before September 2 will be allowed to stay, while those created after September 2 will be locked.

It's about time they've done something about this. The number of these topics has gotten to a ridiculous level lately.

This covers all "Ask ____" topics, both original Balto characters and fan-made.
