Meanwhile Zephyr was cornered in an alley by a large gang of dogs, they weren't the bullies but they might as well have been. Zephyr froze with fright, she couldn't move and she found that she was paralyzed with fear. Her legs shook slightly as the gang of dogs closed in on her. Zephyr finally found the courage to let out a warning bark, but it sounded more like a warning squeak for she was so frightened. The dogs laughed and circled her, licking their teeth as their tails twitched back and forth.
Suddenly a large golden retriever jumped in to save her, there was a flash of teeth and claws as they fought but finally the gang ran away with their tails between their legs, the golden retriever turned to the black and white german shepherd, Zephyr, and snarled slightly. "Don't think I'll ever rescue you again, cat lover, because you are the most weirdest creature on this planet, heck, you don't even deserve to be called a dog, you disgrace the name dog...You deserve to be called a cat, yes a cat, the very creatures most dogs hate, yet one dog decides to be friends with one.." He growled then left.

Zephyr just stood their, her mouth open wide as the handsome male golden retriever fought off the gang of dogs that were being a big terror to her, she grinned slightly as her tail wagged and she was about to say hi when the male snarled and said very hurtful things to her. Her tail and her ears, as well as her head, drooped as she watched him give her a one last intimidating glare and ran out of the alley. Zephyr whinned slightly. 'What if I am a disgrace to dogs everywhere?...No! I refuse to believe that crap, and, to add to that, I'll never be enemies with Jignay!' She thought, her teeth clenched as she stared blankly at the ground. Zephyr sat down on the cold concrete and sighed, she really liked that golden retriever, but she just knew in her heart he didn't feel the same way about her.

Zephyr smiled slightly. "Hey there Jig." She replied with a slight grin. "Let me guess, Kipper again?" She asked with a slight frown.

"Oh, I'm fine now, but I was scared out of my witts when that gang of dogs tried to attack me, and when this real mean golden retriever guy saved me and told me I was a disgrace to dogs." Replied Zephyr. "Anyways, what about you?"
