I know what you're thinking...get you head out of the gutter. XD
On a way more serious note, I need some help. Computer troubles, and I have looked everywhere, but then I thought it couldn't hurt to try BS (since it's WAY more active than service forums).
So, here's a summary:
My laptop is a Lenovo G530 4446 running XP. It's designed as a Vista computer that was downgraded to XP by Lenovo.
There is this problem with a display or monitor driver with these computers. When it runs correctly, the resolution sits at 1280x800. When it doesn't, the resolution is at a completely different setting and seems to be running on a different driver, sitting at 1024x768. There's a chance upon boot-up that the driver will run correctly or incorrectly.
I recently decided to try and remedy the bug. Doing research on the Lenovo Forums, I found a large number of possible remedies. All of them where from customers. I did note that a Lenovo staff posted a solution. Figuring he knew what he was going, I tried the said solution...and that caused a FAR bigger problem that actually renders my computer crippled in some areas.
Here are some links to the topic I've been following:

Page 2- This is where the Lenovo staff, Cleo_Lenovo, posted his suggestion+
Page 4- Under a familiar name, this is where I started to post. As of now, there are two of mine in hereWith the amount of people that are here, there is diversity and a wide range of collected knowledge.
May I ask that you review what's going on and pool some ideas?
I don't much care for the resolution bug anymore, I just want to uncripple my PC.
Playing off of my latest post in the Lenovo Forums, is a System Restore a way out of this problem?
I'll probably thank you later, but thanks in advance to all.
